wow so corruption have reach their embassy na wa o so i wont blame people using B1/B2 to JAPA cause this corruption is getting out of Hand Lordkross: So guys here's the kicker. A guy tailed me from the Embassy to my office (about 7 mins walk from the Embassy).
Note that when leaving the Embassy I told them I was successful, just to not make anybody feel uneasy with their interview, after all we all may never see each other again.
Just as I was about to enter my office premises the guy met me and greeted me.
"Good morning sir" I noticed your application was denied, we can help you reverse it."
I was shocked so I asked a few questions - to sum the whole story he told me I needed to pay another MRV and update my profile and leave the rest for them.
He also guaranteed me that I didn't need to pay any money until the Visa is out in 5 - 10 days.
Points to Note: I think the Embassy is deliberately denying qualified applicants Visas, after which they'll send some of their emissaries to try to convince you about the possibility of reversing their own decision(s).
The guy told me to pay for the new MRV and 1M to the consular and then 100k to him for his trouble.
There are other things I can't state here though because I don't know who is who, but today, I see clearly why people tell lies when they're going for any class of Visa - when does telling the truth ever helps anybody?
Ask yourself how a whole American Embassy go come out to admit that their interview systems had been hijacked by Visa Agents.

I was fighting both PayPal, Stripe and the US Embassy at the same time. But then how would they know? I have a house, 2 registered businesses here and one in the US...na wa! But then it is also stated on the greenish paper that I can reapply at anytime. BizErikah: Those that submitted on 23rd March Have you received any pick up from DHL or gotten your Passport back? First off, a big thank you to everyone who shared useful information on this thread concerning IW. I have been a silent reader for quite a while and here's my own account of the process: Submitted on the 23rd of March at 6:30am Application Received on the 23rd. Case last updated on the 30th. Administrative Processing on 4th April Issued on 5th April Received collection text and email on the 6th Picked up today at DHL office at 10am. Lessons learnt: If you're not in immediate danger of falling out of qualification for the IW, patience is the watch word. With some patience, you don't need to join a Telegram or WhatsApp group to get a drop off date. Visiting this thread frequently will help you scale that hurdle. Once you submit your documents for processing, again, more patience will save you a lot of nail biting. Just let the process run its course. Thanks again to all the helpful folks on this thread and good luck to the rest of the fellows on the visa trail. 4 Likes |

Well, I can’t say this is shocking. As long as there’s human element in a process, it can’t be entirely fraud-proof. Follow your conscience…but bear in mind that your application could unexpectedly fall into the hand of an “uncompromised” consular…which can earn you a 10-year ban for misrepresentation. Thanks for sharing this sensitive information Lordkross: So guys here's the kicker. A guy tailed me from the Embassy to my office (about 7 mins walk from the Embassy).

@dampops I thank you very much for your valuable contribution as always. I am not using the guy, not at all. I would rather pay 67k ten times over to sum it up at 670k than pay 1M plus to any consular or their emissaries. I only wanted the house to know what my experience was and what I think could be a deliberate denials just so that some desperate people would have to pay that 1M for reversal. I calculated that amount by 30 denial a day to be 30M Naira - Hmmm! Who no go want that kind footballer salary? This also made me realize that all this interview dates you hear agents collecting money's for, how do they surface? Something is wrong somewhere. For Abuja here some people paid 1.5M for dates and got dates within a month, I know of one or two people like that. My fight is for them to stop painting us as fraudulent when they are our chiefs. 3 Likes |

You don’t know the cankerworms of blackmail and deceit that’s down the road. If he tells you to bring your passport that the visa is ready, then holds on to it and blackmails you then what next? Or if he shows you a fake visa and tells you to pay before he releases it then what next? I don’t think there’s any fraud with the USA embassy. I think there is a bit of misinformation in your write up. Probably a bit more than a bit.The check-in phase of every activity at the embassy is done by a contracted service provider, not the US Embassy personnel. The service provider is a NIGERIAN company with NIGERIAN staff members. Same as the security guards at the entrances, xray location and within the visa interview room. I always said we need to do better as a people, amd this is it again. At check-in, they have all your information and probably and obviously coordinate with the touts around the embassy. This is the way your number was leaked to whoever called you. These same set of people were responsible for the sale of interview spots last year that led to drastic measures by the embassy. They wear uniforms and the company name is monogrammed on it. Please some of us are not corrupt. Don't use a blanket statement to represent everyone. Speak for the people you interact with. There is nothing wrong in a visa refusal. You didn't need to misinform anyone on your way out. To everyone his own. Lie of you want. Be truthful if you want. Nigeria is indeed the sh**hole POTUS 45 called it because you want to be comfortable with taking advantage of systems. The truth helps. And has helped a lot of people at the same visa application. I never said he called me, I wrote clearly that this young man tailed me to my office premises. 2. After my interview, except for those 7 people with me out of which I left with another elderly Reverend, nobody knew my Visa outcome. 3. I only told the others outside that I got it so as to lift some spirits...no hard feelings or me trying to change their perceptions...na to up tempo. 4. I am one person that naturally thinks 4 times ahead of others, so I am speaking from both what i saw with my eyes and what I was able to conclude on in that instance. 5. I am not using agents, I have never done that even at the beginning of the entire process and won't start now. My submission is, having people wait for 1 year to get appointments is sickening, especially when others are getting it illegally through the backdoor. See it whichever way you think is necessary, but I am telling you that somehow there is this principle of money for hand back for ground...the guy was well informed and there's no way you'll know that at Check-in.
