This is not what ogun needs now as a state that is strategically placed beside Lagos. That state has huge potentials. Very huge one

Your Excellency please permit me to remind you sir that in as much the project is laudable none, preference is needed in addressing infrastructural issues. Which one comes first in the scale of need.

Developing the housing industry for affordability and good road networks so that people working in Lagos can live in Ogun state comfortably.

Get a power plant that will give the residence more electricity to make the commerce and work business and living standard reasonable.

All satellite towns and boarder towns with Lagos should be identified and landmarked for easy taxation and levies.
Vehicles just hop in from Lagos and don't pay a dime while in Lagos they rake billion for the government. Nurtw rakes in hundreds of billion yearly for the Lagos state government. Yes Ogun too can at least make 25billion from those road taxes.

Set a standard in Ogun that is totally different from that of Lagos. Let the laws be different like what is obtainable in the united states. Empower TRACE and modify their operations for modern assignments. Create an emergence ambulance services free to be used in the highways.

Ogijo, agbara, sango begger should be tolled and concessioned for Ogun to generate the money to maintain the roads and infrastructures along that axis. The charges on ikorodu axis should be reduced compared to begger area while sango toll gate area comes in between them.

Build roads , I mean roadsssss, people living in alagbole Akute axis cannot continue to live like that, they are human beings, ogijo, lusada, Agbado ijaye. Ooh my goodness . you won't believe such places exists. Even sime places after ogijo. The population explosion in Lagos has made some Nigerians resort to building in areas you cannot imagine in Ogun state.

Set the priorities right once and for all.
Utilize most religious organizations for their corporate social responsibilities. They have the money to do it.
Winners , The Redeemed Christian church, MFM and so many others have the capacity . consult them if possible and ask them to help where possible . rain has come now and some people's nightmare has started .

You can start planning a blue line rail on the middle of the express to convey people to places such as Mowe, ibafo , magboro etc.
From sango to inwards ifo, winners , etc

Use comfortable buses such as Marco polo buses and make ample lay by. By all means stop road side trading especially on the Express and totally stop unapproved chanty setting of a road side market. Provide a space for them. No illegal bus stops . let the law work .

Any omo onile that will not give a reasonable setback for roads should forfeit his or her land. People should not be made to suffer after parting with huge amount for lands. Before you build get approval and R of O . it will generate money for government and it will also give the residence a rest of mind on their building.

While not neglecting other cities like Ijebu ode, sagamu , ilaro, ago iwoye. Proper planning needs to be done now.

A word....

This is the second time the Metro bus like this will be commissioned in ogun state. The first one has been relegated to the museum of history due to poor management. I don't think something like this can work for long in Abeokuta. Only the Ogun State cities that are closed to Lagos such as Mowe Ibafo are the places where the bus can work effectively

politicians and herculean task promise. no need for WiFi in buses, just provide much vehicles and low transport cost.

he will soon award the WiFi contract to a proxy company and be looting money through it. The WiFi won't work more than 2months and its speed will be too poor.

A state that has one of the worst road networks in Nigeria, is talking about buses, this is absolutely not commonsensical.
