buckeyemedia: Due to the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern military dictators, even a clown from northern Nigeria fully supported by Fulani-led north can win a professor of law or economics and best presidential candidate from anywhere in the south. That's how zoning of the presidency between the north and the south of Nigeria came to be. A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before proclaimed winner. There are 19 states dotted sewed like seeds in the old Northern region. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi must agree to political restructuring of Nigeria democratically, so that after that, we can have a level playing field and eliminate zoning. |

PrinceOfLagos:It depends on the kind of monster you need for the part of the movie. Only reason i know Tinubu will not get the APC slot, is the fact that he is a Muslim, if he wasn’t landslide victory. Na em own Yoruba Christians CAN, that will mess him up. |

IfnobeGod20:You are short-sighted. Has Peter Obi held a national position where he displayed sectionalism? You must be from a certain part of the South infamous for tribalism...you see everything from the prism of tribalism. Peter Obi is a fair-minded Nigerian. If he is sold properly, he can become president. Don't kill yourself. |

maestroferddi:Hearing the truth is alien to some of you. The North and South West see him as an ethnic politician that cannot be trusted. Take this to bank, typical northerners will not vote Peter Obi because of ethnic tag placed on him. If you like believe, if you like don't believe, the ends justifies the means. Pius Anyim will command National attraction than Peter Obi, take this to Central Bank of Nigeria and cash any amount you want. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

IfnobeGod20:There is a time & season for everything under the sun, no other tribe in Nigeria will vote for an Igbo man as President, not today anyway. They will get their time in future, nothing remains the same forever. Even to give them VP slot maybe questionable, before they go plot kill President. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Why do I just hate the word CONSENSUS. No one is privy to the backroom deals and horse trading, particularly those poised to cast their votes in the general election. So I simply cannot see what the electorate stands to gain here or with any other consensus arrangement across any other party. Let there be a contest.... one of ideas and debates and let the people decide who to put forward. The primary reason yours truly simply finds it impossible to vote in any election is that by the time two gladiators emerge in the ring of general elections, it is often not the 'box office' draw the INEC promises. Instead of Manchester City v Liverpool we will be getting Burnley v Norwich as title contenders. I just do not understand how people join a queue for anyone he has not known in the real sense of it. The election processes in other parts of the world is a long drawn out series of inquests, a vetting process that takes months through which every nickel and dime of the candidates are x-rayed such that the best and only the best stands in the ring. Abeg I no dey like how we dey do things for dis country. Let there be competition of ideas. I don't want to sound pessimistic but we will all see how the wrong person will be 'selected' out of this group. And there will be no way to prove the choice when we will not have heard anything from them or learnt anything about their individual potentials. 2 Likes 1 Share |

buckeyemedia:This is what many of them don't really know. Other regions are sceptical of aligning with them, even the South South they hobnobbing with, don't trust them. Instead of them to foster cordial bond and trust, they prefer to throw shades at people and tribes. |
