I am sitting at home in my mansion, if you don't like it, go drink monkey urine.. sit at home have not made me poorer, it just one day! Frankly, i am enjoying it. I get to rest, relax and drink fresh palm wine on every monday morning in my mansion without having to go out and put up with noise and people, dusts and traffics polutions in the street. The ones who are complaining are usually useless people in the society who did not get the opportunity to extort innocent traders every monday.

What is the cause of sit at home if I may ask?
So an ethnic group of over 40mln people should standstill because a fake freedom fighter and a fugitive was captured in Kenya and brought back to continue his trial where he stopped? The game is over for IPOB, they have lost the support of the public.People have seen through their evil plans to keep ndi Igbo in perpetual pain and anguish for selfish interest of one man.
If you had used this energy to show concern for the marginalization and herdsmen attack happening in the East, sit-at-home would have come up. Since the game is over for IPOB, what exactly is your headache? Why do you stress yourself over what is already over?

Face the message. Is the Op making any point? I think so..

The east has lost so much to this whole IPOB struggle, in terms of lives wasted, properties destroyed and financial losses.... The worst part is that what they're doing is not having any impact on Abuja. Even rag tag bandits are doing a much better job in terms drawing the attention of the entire nation and Abuja to whatever is their grievances
The agitation is meant to put pressure on ur èlected and appointed representatives in d SE who will in turn put pressure on Abuja.
Not in support of violence in anyway and IPOB has always denied being behind d violence anyway

I will say this again:

All I see is non-igbos pretending to be igbos and crying, wailing on Igbo affairs as if they care about the Igboman.
As if without sit at home Soludo will turn anambra to London. The same crop of politicians? I pity anambra people who are falling for this polithiefcians deception.
Gbam! Soludo would blame sit at home for his failure eventually. It is just one day in a week! infact, I am glad i don't have to go out every monday to put up with people, dust, noise and traffic pollutions.

Those that are sitting at home are richer than those that are not sitting at home and it is better to sit at home on Monday than to live in IDP camps in all the northern states 13local government in Niger State is under bandits control and nobody is talking about it 17soldiers were killed last week 120people were killed and over 200kidnapped from Abuja Kaduna railway train the northern fools and the South West zombies should mind there ass instead of wailing for sit at home

ESN has successfuly taken over crime industry in SE and took it to next level from herdsmen.

How did you came to this ridiculous conclusions.. properties and lives have always being lost everywhere around the world including the East. Suddenly it is the fault of IPOB. Did you lose any life or property personally? Or witness people's lives and properties destroyed as a result of sit at home? If people are sitting at home how can their lives and properties be destroyed? undecided some of yous are just spreading lies for no good reasons just because you can get on social media, do you have any proofs that IPOB destroyed peoples lives and properties?

Herdsmen issue is a national problem that affected southeast the least to compare with other regions in Nigeria but IPOB took advantage of that and created a terror gang to terrorize and intimidate our people into submission. What have the herdmen done that ESN hasn't done worse?
They kidnap, murder, rape, snatch cars and force everyone against their wish to sit at home for their leader every monday or his court days.
Do you think that if ESN was sincerely fighting terrorist Fulani herdsmen only, you think people like me will be complaining?
How many herdsmen is in the custody of ESN?But there are dozens of Igbo men and women kidnapped and detained in ESN camps accross Igboland.

HOW SIT AT HOME MAKES THE POOR POORER IN SOUTHEAST.

I am going to use Ariaria market as a case study because I reside around that area. Thousands of customers come from Uyo, Calabar, Rivers, Bayelsa to buy things from Ariaria market on week days. They will patronize wheelbarrow pushers that will carry their goods to the bus, they will patronize mamaput sellers, they will patronize okada riders, keke etc.

Traders in Ariaria are higher in population than these customers that come from outside Abia state. The market is also patronised by residents of Abia. They will also need the services of wheelbarrow pushers, okada riders, mamaput, keke, etc.

If the average person in any of these categories makes 4,000 naira daily, it means every Monday sit at home he/she loses 4,000 Naira.

36 days of sit at home have been observed on Monday since August 2021.

36 days × 4,000= 144,000 naira.

If the poor have lost 144,000 naira, the middle class may have lost about a million naira, while the rich will be counting their losses in hundreds of millions.

Sit at home will not affect the salaries of Buhari.
Sit at home will not affect the salaries of any governors.
Sit at home will not affect the salaries of any minister.
Sit at home is a self imposed embargo on the people you claim to be fighting for. It is an economic suicide.

Have it occurred to you that the business transactions on Saturday has triple in the south east because of Monday sit at home?

There is no revenue lost due to sit at home.

What I really think, is that the sit at home is making the poor in the Northern Region poorer.

If not

Why would all the crying and bleatings be coming from those who has been opening hate threads about Igbos all their lives.

What are the northerners more concerned about the sit at home than their hundreds of thousands of people being slaughtered at this very moment in every northern state?

What is it they are not telling us?

At least the sit at home has taught the FG that Biafra is bigger than Nnamdi Kanu. If they kill Simon Ekpa today, another fellow will arise even more defiant than both Simon Ekpa and Nnamdi Kanu.

Both Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa are only symptoms of the problem. Until the root cause is settled, we shall only Keep pursuing shadows and sinking deeper into the mess.

The fact is,,,there is more daily killings in Igboland today than there was before MNK luanched his deadly armed group.
I thought IPOB AGENDA was for restoration of Biafra? now they have limited themselves to a mere vigilante group and since then every day is fund raising for ESN.A vigilante group that kills and kidnap their own people.

You think there'll be exceptions?
When your relatives write wassce for 3 years, you will get back to your senses.

Companies are gradually closing their offices in the south East. One of my favourite spots closed recently. Continue the sit at home.
Since all Igbos have become foolish to know that we're carrying out an exercise in futility.
We should extend it to Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Then leave Friday for formality.
Well, na our physical traders and business people dey feel am. I work remote jobs, so if we like make we burn the whole place down. Las las, I'll relocate go south.

If they are punishing themselves, why is it your headache? All this while they have been suffering marginalization and herdsmen attack, you never showed any concern. Now they are trying to use sit-at-home to approach their problems, you have suddenly developed a concern for them. Since they are punishing themselves, let them be. If it works for them, they will know. If it does not work for them, they will know. Or, what effort or which solution have you offered them?
