what if the rider disagrees standing by what shows on their app.

Riders can't see the fare on their phone until you complete the ride.

For sake of next time @ Glithronix don't be in a hurry to complete your rider for any reason.

Just end it and let the rider step out of your car b4 completing it.

Another reason for this is so you don't get intimidated to rate the rider since they're seeing you.

And don't always be in a hurry to leave after finishing a ride. Take some time to look at the car to see if rider left any item or if you need to clean up b4 you move onto the next ride. Unless you're in places like marina rd, or along a major road where law enforcement agents might be a treat to you, yet don't complete the ride just end it, collect your money, let the rider make payment 200m or 100m away from their destination then let them quickly get down. Move to a save place b4 completing the ride.

Even atbthe airport you can still wait to check if or dust your foot mat b4 driving away from the drop off zone the only thing you can't do is pick up at that point.

There's no filling station there, boss.
And my agitation there was that, how dem go cut banner in circular form and paste it on one pole like that?
The pole looked like something else was there but these police go cut banner and paste it on the pole plate with one way symbol where you no go notice am.
Like that's not enough, they were charging offenders 15k - 20k, me na 10k I paid.
And their oga was collecting the money from the offenders openly on the street, dem no hide am at all.
It is well sha.
Much respect, boss
I know the road you are talking about. It's actually one way. That was where I was arrested earlier this year, although I quickly reversed out of the road the moment I noticed it and followed the right road.

It was on that right road they stopped me, their boss said he saw me enter there and also reversing. Na one black chubby man like that.

We ended up at Akinpelu station, parted with 10k.

I get you now. But this isn't borne to the reason "money no dey ehailing". It is either you scale up (having fleet of cars) or use ehailing proceeds to move to other investment.
If you think money dey IT, use ehailing proceeds to divert.
If it is to JAPA, use ehailing money to run your paper.

Whatver remains of that amount will be paid to your acct on the next payment day.

NOTE: Dont expect exactly this amount to be paid into your acct. Bolt will continue to take their commission from this amount for every cast trip you make till the next payment day.

You can only get this amount or higher paid into your acct if you get more of card trips whose fares will be added to this

Quick one guys.

These scammers won’t stop at anything.

I was around my area when this driver came to ask the sales girl at the shop about one guy who came in and out of the place. The girl said she can’t remember any man.

Out of curiosity i asked the guy what happened, he said a guy approached him to do offline from Ajao estate to isolo to go carry about 15 packs of cway bottled water.

They agreed on a price, on getting to the said place the rider told the driver they don’t have the required amount of water he plans to buy. and he needs to call his madam, guess what the weyrey no get call card.

Naso driver give the rider his phone, he said he was monitoring the rider and he went towards the shop he wants to buy water. He sat in his car watching. Not knowing that shop leads to another compound.

He said he waited and the guy didn’t show up, naso he approach the shop. The woman selling water said the guy said he wants to use POS. Naso the guy carry phone waka.

Trust nobody. E pain me for the guy. Bros if you dey read this, sorry again.

You can still get your balance from Bolt. Click on the trip and report to bolt. Make sure you explain how the rider scammed you cos you’re newbie. They should compensate you with the balance

Let him just report with "rider paid less" or rider didn't pay" at all no time. That rider is a thief and should be shown the hoodlum manner. Bolt will knack him half thw amount which will reduce his commission. Simple

This is the reason I don't do offline trips no matter the price offer.

The driver should have come down from his car to follow the idiot to the shop.

BTW, why does the rider have to come down from the car to make the call with the driver's phone?

That does not seem right to me. The driver wasn't vigilant enough.

It is well...
scamming is when they play on ones Intelligence or betray trust. But when someone is foolish what do u call that one?
It's dangerous enough to give your phone to a stranger to make a call without u hearing what they are saying, to now allow the person out of sight is another level of mumuism in this Lagos and in this time and season of kidnapping and ransom negotiation.

What I do when someone approaches me for offline is I give him a ridiculous amount first. If he agrees or price small from my proposed amount, I tell him am not going that way again. Na thief him be. But if he prices a reasonable amount then I know this one is a serious genuine pelsin. God will help us, but make we sef they use our head.
