Good morning all, thank you for the great info being supplied here. I have a unique situation and will be glad if I can get some advice: I got a college admission and have submitted my visa application since January, I'm still awaiting decision and the program is to start by May. However, along the line I got a fully funded admission in another university starting in September and I will like to go to this new school. My question is will it be okay to defer the college admission after I land in Canada then change DLI in September? Will that have any effect on the conditions of my study permit and subsequently on getting a visa extension and PGWP? 1 Like |

Hello Adebamfem If it's naria MasterCard it most likely won't work because dollar has been limited to $20 a month if you use a naria card and the application fee is $235 cad. But what you can do is to open a domiciliary account put dollar inside and then get a prepaid card, you'll be able to use that. Or just get a trusted person who has a prepaid card (domiciliary account) fund the account and use it. NOTE -This is for Gckey portal,I don't know how the new portal works Adebamfem: |

Adebamfem: Download Klasha or Barter by Flutterwave. Do the necessary verifications and fund your account in Naira, you'll then create a virtual dollar card which will be funded with the naira. You can make any international payments with the card. Very easy and fast! 1 Like |

Hello guys, my study permit application just got refused due to: Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee. How do I tackle it? Paid my first term tuition fee and also submitted a high transacting bank statement with a transaction history of over 100m and a closing balance of 9.5m. Also, I'm 25 years of age and presently working. I really don't understand what they meant by refusing me on personal asset? I submitted my dad c of o which is quite worth a lot. How do I tackle this? |
