If Nato does not exist, or let me put it another way, if Nato adheres to its promise to Russia on the 90's that it not expanding an inch eastward, then there would be no point for this Ukraine crisis. Don't forget Nato was created because of Russia, so Russia sees it as an aggressor.

You don't protect yourself at the expense of others. Then all of you will not be safe. If Finland and Sweden thinks protecting themselves means being in Nato, then they made it worse.
