Omojudy:
I have a confession that has been harding me to say. Maybe I will feel better as I do. I never even tell anyone yet.
So i had 5 embryos after my first cycle in 2019. I decided to implant them this year and in two places. Well both failed. And I have no embryos anymore. I actually hoped to have a boy thats why I used them. But most importantly I couldn't imagine one day telling the clinic to discard my embryos or imagine forgetting it there and by some malpractice it is used on

some couple without my consent.
I don't know how I feel. I feel like I lost a child.
Am I making any sense?

You can do only HCG and/or progesterone inj. in your bum. The HMG can be taken in your thigh or your tummy. Personally, I prefer the tummy but anyone that works for you is fine. How did your cycle go?
swtbiddy:
Thanks for this info, please I need some clarifications, when I did iui I was told to inject menopur ( HMG 75iu) on my thigh, though the iui failed. So when I started IVF I was given menopur HMG 225iu to inject on my bum, but I told them I prefer my thigh. But you said it must be in the belly only why?

How did your cycle go?
The follicles above 25mm were probably over-mature unless your doctor was sacrificing those two so that the other three follicles can be used.
However, I prefer that the most dominant follicle not be sacrificed because it is the follicle that nature chose and more often than not, contains a healthy egg.
I also hope your doctor was keeping you informed and updated on how the process was going on
Sugies:
Today is Day 14 and I went for my scan today, The 4 egg has dropped and going for Iui today.
This is my second try, my first resulted to a chemical pregnancy.
Any advice for me this time.
Wish me luck

you can keep taking them but will have to stop ubiquinol and dhea after egg retrieval.

Happy easter everyone and trust we are having a good easter celebration. This is a new moniker but an old member.
Please I need advice and suggestions. I did ivf late last year, got pregnant but lost it by 11weeks 5days as a result of no heartbeat. I even attempted suicide because the pain was too much for me to bear, but to the glory of God I'm healing gradually.
I went for the evacuation(MVA) last month, I am yet to see to see my period though.
Before starting the ivf, I took some recommended drugs to boost my egg quality for some months as well with hubby, the two subserol fibroids that were small before the ivf increased to 6.5cm as a result of the plenty progesterone that I was taking,
Now my questions are; what should I do to avoid the reoccurrence of no heartbeats again ie chromosomal abnormalities.
When can I go for the 2nd round of ivf and do I need to prepare myself again? If yes what drugs do you suggest.
Looking at the size of the fibroids now does it need surgery or what can I do to reduce it?
If I should go for ivf again, do I still use same hospital or change to a new one?
I am 35year old married for 5years,hubby has low sperm motility. Please I need everyone opinion on this, please do not read and pass, help a broken sister. @blendy, @zest4alllife, @omojudy, @uridiame

I don't have answers to your questions but just want to urge you to be patient. You do your unborn children a disservice with suicide, it is not the way out. A positive mindset helps in all of this.

sorry for your experience sis, please try and resolve the fibroid issue before going for another IVF, pregnancy also makes fibroid to increase, most doctors don’t do IVF with fibroid no matter its location, also boost your egg quality once more if its more than 3-4 months, as for wether you can use same hospital, its entirely your decision to make based on your previous experience with them, o would suggest you do IVF/ICSI next due to your hubby’s low motility, poor sperm can also lead to poor fetal development but with ICSI they select the healthiest sperm and use it to fertilize your egg. May God grant you success in your next attempt and may the babies bring joy to your home.

it is very risky, IVF is capital intensive, not up to 50% success, so you should do everything possible to increase your chances. Try and resolve it please either naturally or surgically.

Yes you can have a successful IVF with Fibroid regardless of size what is most important is where the fibroid is situated and the risks involved.

Good afternoon everyone
Been stimming and on day 8 today, went for my follicle scan and was told there are currently 8 follicles and 1 that is matured enough.
Been asked to continue stimming.

Any advise on what to do/take to push the size and counts?

Thank you for your kind words. Ivf/ICSI was done. Please do you have an idea of any prenatal that won't grow the fibroids further? I'm so scared of taking prenatal these
days as I wouldn't want the fibroids growing further, scared of surgery too.
