Yesterday was my first landing experience at the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, and the whole feeling of infinite possibilities makes me want to write a book on the "Anambra Spirit". The warmth we exude as ndị Anambra is the pivot of our success in commerce and industry, a large dose of this was made manifest immediately I touched down and made my way to the arrival lounge.

My happy day begins always with thinking about the prosperity of our Homeland.

One hopes that Soludo will not drop the ball on developing this airport to the fullest. Although Obiano did a fantastic job, it must be emphasized that his facilities were still the minimum required for the airport to become operational before his exit as governor.

The airport still needs a lot of development such as its Cargo terminal, the cargo storage facilities within the airport, the flight school, parallel taxiway, airforce base terminal at the 06 end, aviation fuel dump supplied by a mini-refinery in Nsugbe, and so many others. One hopes that Soludo will pursue all the projects to make the airport an international passenger and cargo hub as well as one of the important aviation refueling facility in West Africa.
