Thanks for all the heads up on EA and all. I am resuming this fall on the 15th of August and I plan to apply for EA by June 15th.
However, Lagos was the location I picked and I am now paranoid about it since I have heard a lot of people say Abuja responds to EA faster.

My questions are:
1. Can I rely on Lagos to get an EA date?
2. How can I change my location to Abuja? - at least Abuja looks easier to get EA when one applies for it.

Please let me know how changing to Abuja can be done! ��

Please, what am I supposed to fill as the "Address where I will stay" in the US? (I am applying for a student VISA and do not know Adam in the US) Also, what is the best response to "Have you made specific travel plans"?

Also, please who "will be paying for my trip"? My step father is sponsoring me but I have the money for my flight and would be paying for it myself (if that is what they are referring to). Please, is my assumption about what they are referring to right and what is the best response to fill considering I am being sponsored?

I think this would be the school address, as written on your I20

Have you made specific plan
Answer should be no. Since you've not booked for flight, neither have you paid for rent. So no, you've not made specific plan if this is your situation.

Who will be paying for your trip
That refers to who is sponsoring your education I.e. paying the school fee

Depends on your school. if your school is requesting it, then yes. If not, it's doesn't concern airport

Good evening guys, pls concerning filling the I-20, if your cost of attendance is $60k and you have $40k but you applied for loan and $48k was approved. Do you fill in the whole 48k on the self-support column or just the amount needed to make it $60k?

I got admission for Fall 2022 and I’ll be resuming by August. Although, I do not have funding yet. Funding will be available for me by September after I must have resumed the semester because the funding application comes late.

My question goes as thus;

I have requested for my i-20 using my dad’s bank statement (My dad doesn’t live in Nigeria). Now I’m thinking of using my brother’s bank statement who is a data analyst and an officer in the US Army, he also did his Masters in the USA. Do you think it’s safe using his statement?? I’m considering the home ties( I’m the only person left here in my family).

PS; I also have another brother there who did his Masters and currently enrolled in PhD.

Hello guy.. just got an admission my COA is 23k I use my brother SOA to collect my i20 but they indicate the exact amount of his SOA on my i20 which is 49k after they have converted it in their own rate. They haven’t made my funding decision yet but have also save over the years toward this step and it’s about 1m+ Don’t know the amount in USA if they convert it again but hopefully maybe it will be 2-3k. Hope it won’t be a red flag for me at the embassy if they see I have a personal funding of that amount. It will be indicated on my i20 because i am about to send my personal SOA.
Kindly advise pls.

Visa Fee is $160, the naira equivalent is N67,200. R=N420, Use it for your calculations.
