Na voice note for fit this your comment. Guy who tell you say "the guy Don suffer" I enjoy every single day of my life bro, every challenge is a stepping stone to greater heights that is how I have always lived my life. No regrets I just keep moving and guess what the civic has been awesome. I have feed back on my progress in fixing the car and hopefully this is the last stop. Mean while despite the overheating issues (which has finally been solved) I was still able to make ends met working strategically with the car and able to raise money for complete engine overhaul. So guy nothing spoil we move. 1 Like |

Gentlelife50: Then I guess mine is not a water pump issue. I will proceed to wash the radiator on Monday, if this doesn't solve the problem I'll have no other choice than to buy a double cell radiator. Please anyone with connect at Aspanda, I understand parts are slightly cheaper there? |

eyinola: Hmm... So sorry about this bro. I remembered vividly that time when you asked about changing to synthetic and the ogas in the house then in the person of dru23 and radautoworks suggested it was way too late that you should just continue. It's quite unfortunately, now I believe we all can now see reasons to why dru23 keeps hammering about the use of recommended fluid and servicing at the right time. The main problem was the oil, then what broke the camel's back was carrying out the clean up of the engine. The shortage after the cleanup is expedient because all along the rings, piston and other components had worn out but the sludge was protecting the worn out layers. Best solution to this is to get a direct tokunbo engine maybe borale since other components are still okay then start using Castro or any synthetic you can afford. Make sure the engine you're buying is tokunbo so you won't have problem when you change oil. Sorry once again and thanks for sharing your experience I learnt a great lesson 5 Likes |

Crvrider: From experience and what I have read, engine flush is just going to fast forward dooms day. Except the sludge is already a problem, just be driving your car like that till the day it complains. But using engine flush when nothing is wrong with your car and u have been using XHP for many years doesn't end well. Even Dr K d owner/marketer of polytron says he doesn't recommend d use of Polytron in an engine that has been using 20w50 (abused) for many years. He will tell d owner, "it may turn out well and it may end your engine" There are a hundred tiny holes and crevices that an engine flush will sweep sludge into and block. The best way to flush an engine and get rid of the sludge is to bring it down, open up the engine, pieces the components and wash them thoroughly like u r washing pots, plates and spoons. 4 Likes |
