Chreze: OP, YOU ARE TRYING TO MIX 2 THINGS UP HERE:- (1)Personality Traits: The Positive and Negative AND (2) Racism: Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized. SO A RACIST CAN BE A BAD OR A GOOD PERSON AT THAT... Knowing this racial discrimination is in support of his/her belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another. I hope you understand this in your quest for knowledge and wisdom. Take care. 1 Like |

Tobexin:Pay postal order addressed to High commission. 20 pounds at post office. Then If you want the passport to come to you and you wont return to the HC for pick up, buy 1st class or 2nd class envelope from post office addressed to you. Note- there’s one chief at HC doing the postal order, he’ll take 25 pounds instead of 20 |

Hello my people, Nice to see the flowers blossom again. I am planning to test the mortgage waters as a FTB later this year. I checked my affordability to have an idea of the property value to be looking at and having checked prices of 'full option' 3 bed properties (house with 2 bathrooms, garden and driveway for 2 cars) in a number of areas considering security situation and commute times to central london, Ashford in Kent kind of tick the boxes. All these are based on research online. I would therefore like first hand experience from someone living or have lived around there. Is it a nice place in terms of everyday easy commute to central london, good schools, African shops and friendly people. |

Chreze:If your rationale holds water, then we shouldn't hold anybody responsible for their actions. Some people are on the streets and have lived rough lives cos of their exposure. That doesn't stop the law and other people holding them accountable for their misdemeanor which they do here and there to survive. She's right. You've built a bubble to protect yourself or your ego (psychologically speaking) and that's good that you've found a way to cope. However, if you sit and break down what you posted, it's just a beautiful way of recommending suffering and smiling. 5 Likes |

Chreze:Are they racist? Yes, they are. Why are they racist? It's is because they have not been exposed. So, dealing with their ignorance can in that situation solve the problem. You cannot solve a problem by denying it just because you can understand the rationale for the primary behavior. 3 Likes |

Since on the 1st of April i have submitted an Application to pay my wife's school fees using Form A. Up until now 21st of April the stuff is still showing ADB_REVIEWER. Can someone help with a solution to move forward. I applied using my bank Keystone Bank via their headquarters. Also, this is my second week in the uk as i got in last week monday 11th of April. I already have my brp and have applied for my NI and NHS. My personality being someone that don't just like sitting around, i went on job hunting using indeed and totaljobs. I was told to trash the nigerian style CV and opt for the UK styled one which doesn't really show much of my profile and work history. I kuku slim am down to little things i do. But i got to find out that all that doesn't matter. For UK here, dem get their own ways. I was an ICT consultant back in Nigeria with knowledge in system engineering, software installation to mention a few. In my quest to have a change of life, including career. I decided to opt for a new career journey which is Business Analysts. I got connected to someone who offered to put me through tutorials that will help me land a better job after the brushing me up at a fee. Yet to start this tutorial, i went on the said sites above to search for Apprenticiship on Data Analyst, got an offer, but they asked i do something. Which i need to confirm from you guys if anyone has idea make i no go waste my time. I no come UK to spend plenty money, i came to make money and spend little. I was asked to get Statement of Comparability Nna, what is this ke. They stated on the job experience that no certification or experience whatsoever is needed. What is then this one that will cost me a set back of 50 pounds. I don dey spend money, when i never dey make money to find job. Guys, please i need your take on this. Which level, which way. Is there a group where i can learn more about this place without making my J.J.C obvious. Besides, i don't mind anyone sending me templates of CVs that can fit in for me to work anywhere. Cos it seems all these my ICT experience i pack full my cv dey disqualify me from some Non-ICT jobs. And its not care. |

DrObum: I ended my first post with this line “ And that’s the reason why I said a bad person can be racist if given the chance, but at the moment the person is only displaying bad vibes.” One thing I have learnt on nairaland is you make a post, one person reply twisting it to what’s okay for their own quote, others continue under the person post and it goes on like that, then you spend the whole day trying to explain yourself. I won’t do that. I choose to reply to this your quote cos it wasn’t a continuity from another person own quote. Let me ask you a question: “you don’t deserve this post, raise or promotion” If a white says that to you, is the person racist? If yes, why and if no why? |

aminlove:Used them once before but I’d give it a 4 out of 10. In-flight entertainment was non existent, there’s no WiFi on board. There was barely any leg room too. But you get 23 x3kg allowance and RAM is quite cheap too. |
