Calmdancer21:

You have to contact the students accounts department directly asking them to explain your tuition breakdown, via email or you can call them on phone, also ask them questions if you are confused.
As for paying full school fees make sure you ask them about their refund policy very important.
Personally I will say you should pay for a semester and show the rest as POF
My sponsor wants to pay the full fees and give me the receipt so that he doesn't show his statement of account so that I would have already cleared that huddle in the visa process and all that would be left is my living expenses which he can transfer to my account

Is anyone currently attending Fanshawe or who has an offer from them here?
BenedictStinson
post=112143651:

Good morning all, just received my offer letter from Fanshawe college for "Mobile Application Development" two year graduate certificate. I applied through Applyboard.
My question is this: on their website total tution is listed as 24731cad while on the offer letter it's 34911.24cad it's a Co-op course with 3 semesters and then the final work term. I don't know if they just multiplied the semester fees by four when sending the offer letter. Please I would like to know if anyone here has a similar issue
2) I'm to pay a tution deposit of 9211cad by 19May. Is it possible to just pay the full fees amount (to aid visa chances) or do I have to first pay the deposit before paying full fees?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by kweje: 4:50pm On Apr 21, 2022
Nice to know Applyboard came through with Fanshawe admission for you like i mentioned last week.

With regards to this tuition difference, please go back to Fanshawe website, don’t just looked at the quoted tuition, click on it to show a drop down of the fees, you will see a breakdown amount that includes some other fees and a final total.

I noticed same when my ward got her Fanshawe admission.
Do double check the website. It might clear out the worries,

if you are not satisfied, wrote a [/b]note under your Fanshawe admission on applyboard, stating your concerns, they will look into it and revert to you.

2) I believe the tuition deposit is good to apply for visa with( please read their refund policy before paying full tuition if you decide to do so.

Yes you can, there's no harm in having alternatives . USA is pretty straight forward once you get your admission letter and book interview date.

Sunkanmi64:
Good afternoon guys. Please I have a question.
Can I submit study visa applications for USA and Canada weeks apart from each other? Like submitting the Canada study permit application first and then that of USA some weeks later. Please I need answers to this. Thank you very much.

Yes very grateful for linking me up to them. I have gone through the tution breakdown and it adds up to the 24700 on their website. It seems in the letter they just multiplied semester fees by four ignoring the fact that the fourth semester is supposed to be Co-Op work term
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by kweje: 5:04pm On Apr 21, 2022
If i am correct, fees are paid for coop term also.

Best to write Applyboard, they will write Fanshawe about your questions and reply to you.

Also, i believe you would have received a welcome email from Fanshawe with contact details and students support staff info included? You could also verify via that angle.

I guess I'll just write to Applyboard and see if there's any clarification. Connestoga was my first choice but I decided to try Fanshawe as they seemed to be a cheaper two year option. With this there isn't any significant difference in the fees and Connestoga allows a regular laptop for the course unlike Fanshawe which would require me purchasing an Apple laptop.
Thanks a lot for your help

Plz while submitting your documents in the new portal, there is this part that says consent personal information (meaning if u authorize IRCC to release ur info to a third party), although it’s optional but what can I put there?

Everybody is tired. The process is not encouraging. Many of us will have to do another medicals before leaving the country.

I am using the new portal to submit my application... I have tried to combine and compress my additional document with ilovepdf, but it still exceeds the 2MB quota. I would like to know if I can submit my application like that and use the webform to submit the leftover documents.

Male roommate wanted

Hello guys

Flatmate needed from May 1st in Saint John, New Brunswick (Uptown apartment, 9 minutes walk to MBA campus and close to most amenities)
One room is available and goes for $355/month plus utilities(excluding power and internet). This should be good for a student or new immigrant just landing and need a cost-effective place for the next 3 to 6 months (given the way prices of houses have consistently been on the rise).

Interested, hola!

If that's is the case then start sending webforms and emails...send mails to Nairobi, Nigeria, London offices but concentrate on Nairobi and send webforms too....Don't relent, emphasize how the experience been exhausting and almost depressing for you...u can send same email to all contacts...please be persistent...just keep sending, that's what I did in my case and it was updated to pass and same day I got my BVL and PPR seven days later....it took about 2weeks from the first email and webform before it was updated...Good luck to you...
HouseRavenclaw:
I did the final xray since January the 20th. It wasn't possible for me to forget because I'd known since I did the sputum test. After that I received another email from IRCC asking for my results to be sent to a pulmonary specialist who would interpret it and send back a report.

All of this finished in February and IRCC confirmed receipt of my files because I was given the eMedicals slip. There's no request pending and I was prompt with all my submissions. If they didn't receive my files, it wouldn't have changed to "under review" and IOM would've reached out to me. I made sure to have a cordial relationship with several nurses and doctors.

Good evening sir.
I greet you for always doing a good job here.

What advice are you going to give someone who is seriously running of time and his international passport is going to expire on 17th of May 2022. However, he has applied and did biometric for a new passport but he got official letter from Nigeria immigration that the new passport will be ready to be picked up on 26/4/2022(not likely though).

Do you advise him to go ahead with his study visa application with his soon-to-be-expired international passport and add the immigration letter?

Thanks for your time sir.
DestinationCann:
It depends on if it's majorly online or offline.
Do you have staff members that you pay monthly? If you do, you can mention that one of them is the operations manager and would be in charge while you are aware.

You must show proof that he's being paid from the company's account though.
