Biometric Date - 08/04/2022
Medical Request Today - 21/04/200.

I reside in South Africa and have got S/A I.D.
I forgot to add that am a Nigeria but residing in S/A since 2012 but do travels to Nigeria once in a while.

Hello guys , a friend of mine applied for student visa in December 2021. He missed his biometrics request letter which was sent in January 2022, as he didn’t see the mail on time. Now the Biometric instruction letter has passed due date. What can be done?

Hmmmn. But why can't you be checking out Australia for programs also as a kind of back up plan?

The thing is these countries all have a quota each year for international students and they can't take more than they require no matter how qualified everybody is.

Congrats in advance... It's certain your PPR will drop within few days after your medical is passed... When did your eligibility review start.?

I always read when people say they want universities with affordable tuition so here they are:

Memorial University, Brandon university, Canadian Mennonite university, South Alberta institute of technology, Kings university college, Concordia university of Edmunton.

Congratulations on your admission.
If your offer letter needs you to pay a tuition deposit, to secure your admission then that would be the next steps to take otherwise, it would be to submit a student permit application to IRCC. All what you need to achieve that can be found on page1 of this thread.

Please do go through so you are acquainted with the documents you need to back up your application.

Also reading the first 10 pages would give you more insight on how to package your application yourself if you are not engaging the services of an agent.

IRCC recognize all MBS irrespective of your Bank. So you are good to go with First Bank MBS.

Can someone send webform concerning the application made on the new portal?

Use MyBankStatement instead. Submitting 1st and last pages is automatic...........

Hello Quin9,

You are right, eligibility may have begun in the background. These guys don't even update real-time information no more in the GcKey account or GCMS notes making many applicants lose patience and get frustrated.

IRCC now conducts background checks and eligibility reviews concurrently on applications. Ensure to go on with your backup plans while you keep hoping for the best possible outcome.

Some applicants are also experiencing the same update issues with their biometrics after giving it.

Stay focused, and best of luck!

MBs is myBankStatement and is preferable in such that, instead of you submitting bulk copies of SOA, MBS is just a one copy that contain Ticket number and password for IRCC to access those date. So it’s preferable as it also give you enough space to upload other POF docs.
