amila20042001: Go on google and check for the minimum wage for the provinces... some pay same minimum wage per hour, some pay slightly above minimum wage. If you have a skill, you can use it to earn extra |

Countryhard099: Your major is Premed... you are writing SOP for your major not faculty |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olasubomy: 3:39pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
Countryhard099: You will be writing on your course, Pre medicine, but your SOP should mirror the broader courses you will be taking under the Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies. One way to approach this is to look at your course contents and try to identify the areas lacking in Nigeria's health system, and you can use that to your advantage to be an area you intend to add value to the Nigerian health sector and the health benefits One point may be that your research may be looking at human movements and disability, how these movement patterns are changed, and the long-term consequences on our health. These can be joint problems, muscle problems which an average Nigerian experiences daily due to stress or areas like Arthritis common with most older adults and looking at the best guidance to treat this ailment. I would say you try to identify as much as possible what you will learn, research and the current practice in the Canadian health system. You will aim to identify the aspect not yet available in Nigeria and use that to your advantage, more like your readiness to see how the quality of life of the average Nigerian can be improved and reduce mental stress. Success! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Good afternoon all, Please, who has info on Institute of Technology Development, Canada. A family friend is suggesting my family goes through this route to Canada as they are still open to Africans and the scholarship window will end in October. I will be the principal applicant. It's actually a two year diploma course in Canada but my fear is: 1.) How do I know if this course is accredited for those of us who will definitely enter the express entry pool after completion of Canadian diploma 2.) I need detailed info on this program before applying cos the timeframe is short so let me know what I'm delving into Tl |

coolangel54:Institute of technology and development. Is a designated learning institution in Vancouver Canada. But international student who graduate from that institution are not qualified to apply for post graduation work permit. In other words after you study and graduate from that institution you will need to go back to your home country. |

Federal minimum wage is $15.55/hr but if you're lucky to get a good part time job, you can earn $16-17. Some jobs still pay $15 too. amila20042001: 1 Like |

Male roommate wanted Hello guys Flatmate needed from May 1st in Saint John, New Brunswick (Uptown apartment, 9 minutes walk to MBA campus and close to most amenities) One room is available and goes for $355/month plus utilities(excluding power and internet). This should be good for a student or new immigrant just landing and need a cost-effective place for the next 3 to 6 months (given the way prices of houses have consistently been on the rise). Interested, hola(PM)! 1 Like |

LANDING GIST Part 1 So my journey to London Ontario started on Saturday night (11pm) via Lufthansa airlines I arrived at muritala mohammed airport around 7:30pm. My family was allowed to go in with me until the last point My luggages were all within the right weight so I didn’t have to pay for any extra fees. The First Lady checked my enrollment letter, passport and Vaccination card. Then I proceeded to check in my luggages, I was given a yellow card which I filled immediately. After filling the card, I started to chill with my family, took some photos, said my goodbyes, then proceeded to one long immigration queue like that. When I got to the officer, he asked for my passport, also asked for the address of where I’ll be staying in Canada. He stamped my passport then I went to the next step where I had to take off all metallic objects on me, brought out my laptop, camera, ring light , PlayStation etc I took some time here cause the machine kept sending me back lol… After about 15mins, I eventually passed them I proceed to my airline where I was asked for my boarding pass, I had to wait for my group, which was group 6. Eventually, I boarded the flight to Frankfurt Germany which lasted for 6 hours 30mins. The experience was amazing, cool, with good food, movies etc. the only issue was that I didn’t know I had to pay for Wi-Fi…. I thought it came with the ticket. Lol don’t mind me, it’s my first time 20 Likes |
