LANDING GIST PArt 2 I got to Germany around 6am, my next flight to Toronto was around 9:30 am, so I checked the screen for the exact gate I’ll board my flight cause it wasn’t really stated on my boarding pass. During this process, I met two Nigerians, a young guy like me who was also going to my school in London Ontario, and an Old man who was trying to find his way. So we decided to move together Eventually we found our gate, we had to wait for about 2 hours for the flight to Toronto. When it was 9:20am, we proceeded to Air Canada for our next flight that lasted for 8hours 30mins (Longest 8hours of my life lol)… eventhough , there was good food, drinks, entertainment, etc… I was still tired. Got up so many times to pee sef just to stretch my legs. Forced myself to sleep like three times,….. and eventually we arrived in Toronto airport. When we got there, I initially thought my study permit will be gotten at my final destination but eventually one of the airport staffs told me I was wrong and I’ll need to get it at Toronto airport. I proceeded to the self declaration machines to register and all, proceeded to get my study permit. I was only asked for my passport and LOA. The guy was even joking with me and asking me about Naija girls and girlfriends…. Lol anyway, I got my study and work permit. Proceeded to my next flight to London, had to wait for 4hours, eventually I got to London airport, my luggages that I checked in Lagos were already waiting for me. Picked them up, called my friend, he came to pick me up…. Then we drove to his place. So far I’ve been adapting, blending, meeting new people, going to stores, paid for my apartment, opened a bank account, gotten a SIM card, gotten my SIN etc… But na Job I Dey find now. My classes will commence May 3rd. I look forward to that. Thank you all for everything, the help and love. I’m grateful to God for bringing me this far. Lol abeg if anyone has a plug or can help me with getting a job in London Ontario. Kindly let me know, God bless you, thank you 42 Likes |

coolangel54:. By applying to other colleges while inside Canada. Either by changing your DLI inside Canada or applying to a new DLI after you graduate. 2 Likes |

Ayomide5651: You need to login into your compass student account with your username and password, then click on finance tab , in there you will find how much you are required to pay. To learn more about this process I have included a link below. I hope this helps. https://www.cbu.ca/compass/?utm_term=&utm_campaign=Applications+-+Nova+Scotia+2021-22&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&hsa_tgt=dsa-1597530430240&hsa_grp=137944338608&hsa_src=g&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_mt=&hsa_ver=3&hsa_ad=575373132870&hsa_acc=8844446369&hsa_kw=&hsa_cam=15010163941&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpImTBhCmARIsAKr58czpgEBFGJ08E7LFOlwvXB8m2soPK22QAQyYSUW9RQ6rMb5znD5sh9MaAswTEALw_wcB 1 Like |

What do you mean by DLI please (don't be offended by my questions please)? Can one enter the express entry pool with just the certificate from ITD upon completion? Finally for now, what if I'm given a five year study visa permit? What if? I don't need to come back home immediately upon completion of the ITD course right? I intend applying for a new passport cos my old one will soon expire. mrprolifik: |

Hello Everyone, I have been reading this blog for sometime now and I just want to thank everyone answering queries as well as those asking. Questions and responses have been very informative. So sorry for the LOOONGGG POST! I am about to apply for my study permit this April. I received admission to an EMBA program with a tuition of $75,000 CAD. My background is actuarial science (but not ffg that route) but I have been leading large teams for 6 years now. I have compiled the ffg documents. • House Deed of Assignment & Contract of sale (Proof of ties to home country) ₦66,000,000.00 • My FD deposit Investment Letter, Investment Certificates for the past 3 year (2 old certificates and 1 certificate for investment of funds from April 2022 - June 2022 ) ₦47,682,510.44 • Valuation of Landed Asset, Land Asset Ownership document (Proof of ties to home country) ₦30,000,000.00 • Bank Statements showing yearly rental income &Lease agreement with tenant(secondary POF) ₦3,120,000.00 • Bank Statements ₦2,680,000.00 • Letter from pension & Statement from pension (secondary POF for 4 months) ₦2,000,000.00 • Life Insurance Fund Confirmation ₦710,000.00 • Tuition confirmation from school CAD 36,101.00 • GIC Certificate CAD 12,138.00 • Letter of Acceptance • Gift Deed from mother • Sworn Affidavit Statutory declaration of Funds • Letter of Employment, Increase of Salary and 3month pay slip • Proof of Travel history • Telex for school fees payment (is this needed?) • Letter of Explanation • Resume • IELTS (Band 9) • Graduate Certificate & Transcript • Birth Certificate relationship with mum • Get Leadership training certificates The 4 concerns I have is as follows 1, Total amount of funds available is about 194,000 CAD as primary proof of funds. However, Is having the funds in the FD okay to present? 2. During the payment of the tuition I changed naira to dollar from funds in my investment at the parallel market, then I asked a friend to deposit the money into my dollar acc which he did but used his name to pay the money in at 2 seperate times. My remarks when transfering the funds to the parallel operator stated the dollar quivalent. Do I have to explain this scenario in my LOE? My friend has done a statutory declaration (notarized) that the funds is not his own. Is that fine? He is okay to submit his identification too 3. I got refused to spain about 5 yrs ago for a tourist visa. it was a supposed to be a 3 day vacation. I have gone to many other countries after that UK (3) , seychelles, Dubai, Kenya etc. I have attached my travel history. Do i need to explain this refusal in my LOE even though I have declared it. 4. I know i can do my medicals after submission but do I have to wait for IRCC to make a medical request before i book an appointment to go for the medicals or I can book after submission and go for it without a request for medicals? I am really not clear on this part. 4 Likes 1 Share |
