Jonathan is a money spender, not a money maker. Nigeria had the best financial opportunities during his tenure in office, but could show little for it. It is obvious that many corruption loving Nigerians will anticipate for his second return. Afterall, he is a type that will relax the rule with EFCC and even close an eye away from the activities of ambitious looters. At the moment, crude is at lowest, it is payback time for our heavy debts, and so much is expected in terms of economic growth and security improvement. If I will not be biased, jonathan is a wrong man for the presidency job at this decisive moment. Otherwise Nigeria will fall into a disastrous economic comma within a year of such administration

Tinubu was used to cease power from Jonathan in 2019, now Jonathan will be used by the North to cease power that Tinubu is so desperate for. The north plays this political chess game very well.

Bros, just relax and be eating your .... in peace. I am not sure you'll get the ticket though. In eight years, the murky, sharks-infested waters of 9ja politics has become murkier and hostile than you left it.

Consider yourself lucky to have done 6 years. Atiku has been sweating for only 4 years, e no sure for am.

Additionally, your reputation and personality would have been thoroughly drained by that leprous party called APC.

It will be great miscalculation from the north to bring in Jonathan. It will further worsen agitation for Odua and Biafra nations. I am afraid we may not have elections in some regions in 2023.

Jonathan wouldn't be able to handle the trouble that would befall him. Ipob Biafra and Odua agitations at the same time?

Let's see how Buhari intend to bring him to APC.

We have seen how well the Buhari and Osibanjo you Yoruba people said were better than GEJ in 2015. At the end the smartness of afonja tribe is equal to foolishness and naughtiness. The same fate Awo and Abiola had is what Tinubu will also experience.

Only the SW will not vote him sha. The north will gladly manage him for 4 years and the SS and SE will jump on the thought of paying off the betrayal of 2011 by the SW. If he gets APC ticket, he will win elections 1 hours after by a landslide

It is not that the North love Jonathan to run for Presidency. The North is only looking for him to do 4years and let power come back to them since they (North) are being told that APC should zone presidency to the South. They now see it just to fulfill all righteousness by calling GEJ to run only 4 years. It's only some Southerners that don't understand the game the North is playing.North simply want power to remain with them

It's now you people remember south. The SE and SS won't bother. They'll still vote him and gladly fall for the North's games. Ojoro cancel ojoro

If Jonathan eventually contests and wins, it will be a BIG PLUS to his political career, and also a BIG PLUS to the north.

..but it will surely be a BIG LOSS to the southern regions of Nigeria.

This is a serious dilemma.
The South will vote for him.

APC is not a party that lack leaders. As a matter of fact the house is already full. Jonathan should rather go and queue behind Atiku in PDP where they have shortage of leaders.

That will be a very wrong and selfish move.
Why will he accept to do only four years and foolishly allow power to go back to the North after 4yrs, thereby surchanging the south of 4yrs rule?
Is he that clueless?
Anyways, he should forget SOuth south votes and SE votes. Maybe he is counting on Northern votes.
He will fail woefully

Did the southwest considered the south before conspiring with the north to shortchange the south .

My brother the southwest is the main issue of southern Nigeria
