I'm sorry for the late response, today has been a busy day for me. I actually saw your message on time but I didnt want to reply with "a sentence", I wanted to take my time to write elaborately.

They are projects which have come to stay considering the usage (applications),the tech, the team (non-faceless profiles), the community, all of it.

There is one of them which I have been following for 3 years right before it was launched, Radix  (eXRD and XRD),available on Bitfinex.
There are a host of them which are not limited to;AKRO  JUV   BEL  ALICE NWC  CRV  MDT  PERL  BURGER  GHST   CTSI   DYDX   METIS  LRC  RLC KAVA ICP AAVE   TLM  COMP  SXP  DOT  LTC  SFP  TOMO   TCT   XTZ   LINK  RVN  DUSK WAN   OCEAN  VIDT  KMD  ZIL
REP ADA  OGN  TWT   DATA ATA  KEY PROM  MATIC ChainLink  MKR
     
They are basically coins/tokens with low marketcap currently but with absolute solid fundamentals.
Gem coins/tokens are to be Ho
I'm not a fan of meme coins,cos they are basically pump and dump coins. Though watch out for #Croge,could give you x100 to x1000 in the nearest future.


For altcoin GEMs I believe in and that I am comfortable holding for ages… not even looking at the price.
I am a stubborn holder !

Sometimes,a friend i trade for often asks me why didn’t you sell that… because the gems I am holding, I don’t want to sell at +40%… that thing has too bad risk to be sold at +40%, I can sell ethereum at +40%… but not a coin/token with a low cap. I want up to  3x; 5x; 10x or more on a gem, or will cut it when the project is no longer prospective (like bzrx with shown competition).

I am always mentally prepared! 3 times out of 4 you will lose, miss out on 30-40% gains… but once you win, you win 10x… makes it all worth it. And it’s less stressful.

I asked myself what’s worse for me, to lose on a coin that at some moment had +40% gains or to book 40% and to see the coin doing 400%, then 800% and then going for 1000%?

For me, personally, the latter was the answer, so I formed my strategy.

Every strategy is right, if you form it for yourself, knowing your PERSONALITY and with what you will be COMFORTABLE AND HAPPY.

I have been into crypto since 2012/2013,that's the year i created my first wallet. I have been burnt severally,but I keep the race alive,gathering experiences every now and then. I'm the type of person who is shooting for the big win. Not caring about the process !

And also,I'm the type of person who takes a % here, % there. I think because of pure human psychology and based on my experience so far, that's why i said earlier that "I wish everybody do much of futures trading (using strategy that works for you based on current market movement) with RISK MANAGEMENT in check based on current market trends at a given time,
along with little spot trading (HODL gem coins) it's the best strategy that would fetch you profit every other day whether market is pumping or dumping."

Future has a way of doing that. When you use small money you go dey win, your $100 go turn $200 in 30min you go be like if I had put 1k I for don profit 2k o. The moment you start using big money na then the wahala go start.

Future go give you $100 con collect $1000 back from you. I just hope say you'll be able to sleep proper this night. E no easy grin

No stoploss. Absolute legend!
Nobody in this world ever wins 100% of their trades. Have stoploss and invalidation points.
Not let people wey dey post PNL with 100x leverage mislead you. You know how much margin dem take dey trade? E fit be 500k, e fit be 50$. High leverage with only 1% of their 50$ (Take deceive you to subscribe to their vip) while you go do high leverage with 80-100% of your account.

Thanks boss for that call. Tomorrow I will be very busy at work so maybe when the dumping start I should not be caught unaware. I checked for stop lost on gate.io I did not see it so I have to go with the $$$ I made to avoid story that touch. Abeg if you get another call remember me boss. I don already the follow you.

Compounding interest.
I will be risking 20% of my total balance on 25x leverage with defined stoploss and invalidation points. If I win, I use 20% of my new balance for the next trade. Everybody is a genius when wahala never knock for him door. grin

Something like that.
Though it can also help you to determine when to buy or sell even when the price is yet to be in the overbought/oversold region.

I think you are good.
Ride on, just keep your greed in check and also,dont go all in at once,always buy in parts/batches.

Let say you have 500 usd to trade futures. And the current price of bitcoin is 42,000. In your case, you used all your 500 usd to buy btc at the price of 42,000. Hence, your entry price will be 42,000. But instead,do this ; use 100 usd out of your 500usd to buy btc when the price=42000.
At further dip,say when btc falls to 41500,buy again 100 usd worth. And say further dip went to 41000,buy a 100 usd worth. Say again it dips to 40500,buy a 100 usd worth. And lastly,if it drops to 40000,then use your remaining 100 usd to buy at that price. The effect; your entry price will not be "42000" as you have using your approach,it will be far less than 42000. Hence,your liquidation price ,which in your case is around 37,000,will be less than 37,000. Thats it about that,though other twerks dey.

Mind you,it is always a good practice to set this order already (open order) so that incase of a Liquidation wick /downward spike,your order can get executed.

Don't close it prematurely.

There will be a bounce if it ever gets to the monthly 38k support.

What price did you enter so we see if it can bounce to break even?

What leverage are you using?

Even if 38k does not hold, 37200 is another strong support.

You can DCA at those 2 prices.
