Note 12 series coming soon. I just wonder, why the downgrade in battery size? Especially the one with 4300mAh.

Mediatek always has this overheating issues. The Poco x3 GT got this overheating notification issues

Thats mediatek of 2017 bros , it will shock you say u will still see more of mediatek chipsets this year than Snapdragon, Poco X3 GT is a fantastic device, better than any redmi series out there, learn to familiarise urself with a product before bashing it. Learn from Intel and AMD story.

bro understand the guy na, he is not saying some mediated chipset dont produce heat he is just trying to point out that they have been producing good chipset recently like the dimensity and even Snapdragon chipset also produce heat eg snap 888 and others does it na mean that all Snapdragon chipset are bad

888 series produce heat because they are yet to be optimized

They will soon be optimized and the heating issues will be solved unlike mediatek

but compare the efficiency and optimization, mediatek will still remain way back than Sd?

And in the aspects of picture quality mtk always person less than Sd, even the new dimensity chipset got some bug which was recently discovered

that's what I'm try to make that guy understand! Mediatek hardly optimized there soc. They just manufacture and left everything for the end consumer to face the issues themself and produce another buggy mtk processor with ridicule number undecided

Typical of a Chinese behaviour, they don't care about anything

do you know what u are saying?? Check the dimensity 8100 and see how efficient it is compared to even the snapdragon 8 gen 1. I think mediatek has really upped it's game

Dimensity and helio series no be the same mate, SD 8 gen 1 dey show himself since, no one is perfect bt mediatek today has set a name for them selves, its nt easy, redmi series wey dem release for china wetin dem dey put inside, no one can stay on top forever, will still refer you back to Intel and AMD story.

Everyone has one or 2 chipsets wey dey behave like bastard among dem all, bt that doesn't mean they are total garbage, each manufacturer has his own flaws, design and architecture is diff.

If mediatek is truly garbage why is Oneplus using them now in their flagship device, u cant rule out a whole team jst because someone gt injury. Get a dimensity powered device today and see .

This is a big lie. It has nothing to do with optimization. SD 888 and 8 Gen 1 are hot plates thanks to Samsung's poor yield in the fabrication process.

888 is hot boss except you aren't a power user. Also Samsung is usually guilty of not pushing the processor to it's full power except in benchmark. Even in Benchmarks self the 21 Ultra is below that of other phones powered by the same device.

So I want you to defend the 8 Gen 1 against the Dimensity 9000 and 8100

OG, I use my 21 ultra to play hours of CoD, PUBG, do zoom meeting on the side for work related stuff. Zoom alone will make any phone hot, but I don't have that on my 21 ultra. From time to time it increases temperature, but it cools down fast.

Baba no too dey believe all these YouTube guys. Dem too dey exaggerate things. That's how they said pixel 6 pro no good for gaming, but alas, I've been gaming on it without issues.

Laslas all these phones are good Jare. We are the ones always nitpicking like as if one small thing will spoil the experience of using these phones.

It is well sha. Dimensity oh, snapdragon oh, iOS oh, they all do well on flagships. No difference for me.

Have you experienced it, or is this coming off YT and ice universe?

Lemme know which first bro. I'm a first hand user. The same way you guys stand up for Redmi and Xiaomi, I do the same for Samsung.

So again, have you had personal EXPERIENCE of throttling because of the so-called GOS?

I dey wait chief.

In a digitized world, I don't need to experience something first to know about it. Why? Because everything is standardized.

It's why you can look at a MediaTek Helio G35 and instantly guage it's performance when compared to a Snapdragon 680 for example.

The point of the GOS was to keep the temperatures down so that average users don't feel the burn. The company has admitted it and offered to send an update.

Why do I need to experience it personally?

Two.

No one mentioned that Samsung was bad. I only asked if you had heard of the GOS? If you're so insecure about Samsung, why are you even on this thread?

Alaye you didn't answer my question. It's on this same thread people will come and complain about stuff and you'd lay into them due to the fact that you've had personal experience with the device. So this can't apply to this case, yeah? You didn't mention GOS as a plus for Samsung. You mentioned it because of the negative aspects of it.

So because I dey defend Samsung make I no comment for thread again? Genius made a statement about snapdragon, I asked him a question based on my own personal experience.

You carry GOS come like say all of us be novice, yeah?

Talk true. Na why you ask my G.

The point about personal experience doesn't hold water anymore.

It is a fact that GOS took CPU power down a notch which led to the S22 heating less. That is a fact.

I don't have to experience it. Just like I don't have to experience that if I jump from a high place, gravity will come into effect or I'll be frustrated if I use a Unisoc SC7731e as my daily driver.

Simple logic.

You brought up the instance that you use a Samsung flagship, that's what prompted my question. If not na to read and rest be my own.

Until those Koreans discovered that GOS was limiting performance, nobody knew that GOS was running like that. Reducing performance and keeping the phone cool.

I'm not hating on Samsung. The Xiaomi 12 Pro uses the same SD8GEN1 as well. So I don't get where you being defensive about Sammy comes in. Na processors we dey discuss, not brands.

I feel you bro, and I will take something from this reply.

I go wait till someone comes here to complain about a bug, and gets invalidated when someone else will come and say "I'm using it, therefore I don't think that's a problem". It's very rampant on this thread and you know this lol. No wahala.

Make we leave matter for Mathias.
