You cannot pay with your debit card. Doesnt allow it. Its either credit card from someone residing abroad or via form A using the link tradesystem.gov to process it yourself. Log in to WU Global to raise invoice and fill the form A with the details in the invoice. Banks dont do that anymore. Please house advise further

tonnymexx:
Hello gurus,

Which bank ATM debit card is good to pay tuition fees via WU Global Pay ?

I mailed my department and they said there’s a wait list and I’m on it.
That they’ll revert this month end .
I’m even tired of waiting and that’s my first choice for schools.

Good day good people, has anybody heard from Dalhousie University concerning fall admissions, either positive or negative or even any dept...I just want to know if they have actually reached out anyone here; acceptance or Rejection.
Thank you!

Good evening guys, I am currently working on my application and I want to submit as soon as possible.

I have a few questions and I will love if I can get answers.

1). Which portal is recommended for applying and is the fastest at the moment? GCkey or the new portal?

2). Do I have to upload my school transcript because what I have is the student's copy and also, I only have my statement of result and not the certificate at hand.

Thank you.

If I am to upload my passport of recent travels( which they are on my old passport, and not the one I am using to apply for the student permit ) can I still upload it? If I can, where would i upload them on the GCkey portal?

1. 0703 061 1055 - Inspector Ronke

2. The two accounts are yours and you have all the proof of source of fund for the two accounts, you don't have to move funds. Submit the two accounts and use the total sum from the two accounts to explain how you intend to fund your study.

3. Wait o. You want to tell IRCC " Hey guys, I will be applying with my family but my hubby's passport is not ready. So imma need you guys to hold a spot for him. When his passport is ready, I will buzz you guys to let you know. Aiit?". Lol. Na joke o, no vex. But on a serious note, my opinion is, you have two options.

- Option A : Apply with your kid and without him since his passport is not ready. He serves as a home tie for you. He can then take all the available possible route to join you in Canada after you've gotten your Study Permit.

- Option B - Wait till he gets his passport before you submit your family application. I don't think you want this option.

Just my two cents. Await the gurus to offer better perspective.

Thank you very much!

Thanks.
I am grateful.
JustMellow:

Hello Obaalasepe,

I don't think there is a need for your spouse to do a Deed Gift, rather ask him to write you a Letter of Support for that amount he will transfer to your bank account. To justify the lump sum from his end, in the letter, he can state the transfer information i.e. name of the recipient, the purpose of the money transfer, account details (from/to), date of the transfer, amount, etc. Also, do the same with a letter.

As a married individual, using a sponsor other than your spouse weakens you or your family's (spouse) level of establishment in your home country. In this case, ensure you:

• show adequate proof of relationship to the potential sponsor;

• pay your full tuition for the first year if your program is 2 years;

• include your personal bank account that is sufficient and equivalent to your LE, your and your spouse's employment information including your study leave;

• if possible, the funds your spouse is to do a deed of gift should be fixed in a fixed deposit for a liquidation period before or one month to the resumption of classes, with a good reason for setting up the fxd. This is another way to avoid a lump sum.

Best of Luck

Good evening house.

New to this thread and hoping I can learn a lot and make new friends with similar objectives.

Please I need guidance on how to access materials for GMAT and GRE, also the exam centres available (online, Lagos etc).

I am hoping to write both exams August/September. I heard the curriculum may be similar because I want to apply to some masters programs and I heard some schools like GMAT for MBA while others prefer GRE for other Masters.

Thank you.

Hello everyone, please I need the help of the gurus @ frankrobnn1 and others on this forum to kindly explain something to me.
I am planning to submit my application for my study permit alongside my family( spouse( open work permit) and son( visitor visa). After filling the questionnaire, two IMM 5645 forms were generated under the doc checklist. One for me and the other for my spouse. Filling my own form is straight forward but I am confused on how to go about the one for my spouse. Should I replicate the info on my own 5645 form in his? Or choose him as the applicant and myself as the spouse with his parents and siblings info on his own form. Please help to shed more light on this as I do not want to make a mistake. Thanks in advance

Hello gurus,

I am asking this question on behalf of my niece. She studied International Economics and Trade at the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law with a GPA of 3.21. She applied to study Political Science at UVic but was refused. She is thinking of applying for other courses but is confused. What courses will gurus in the house recommend? Please we need help here.

Same. You've received any mails from VFS?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by technix: 11:09pm On Apr 26, 2022
It depends on your tuition fees and province of study. If you are outside Quebec, show funds for 1-year tuition and annual living expense of 10,000CAD (plus about 3,000CAD if possible). If your program is more than a year, show that you can afford the tuition and living expense for subsequent years without working (e.g., through a sponsor, direct fund, paid leave, rental income, etc.).
You should use your personal account since your dad's account is recent and you will require at least a four-month statement for him. You can transfer funds from his account to yours.

If a 1 year Postgraduate program costs 42k cad but you have 30kcad, with properties worth 70kcad, would this be fine?

Frankrobbn1:

You're absolutely right!, this is one of the mistakes most individuals make in their respective applications. I remember I have addressed this question long time ago in 2016/2017 when we had to argue it amongst ourselves on this platform, the thread was bubbling then LOL grin grin.

For clarity purposes and for future readers:

"If you're self-sponsored, you're expected to show proof of funds for the entire duration of your program in Canada. Only on the account are you being sponsored by someone can you declare proof of funds for the first academic year". Please ladies and gentlemen on this platform take note of this and make the most of this advice in your application.

It will end in praise
