For those who'll blame me on why i enter the heavy rain note this is not my first time entering into heavy rain with my laptop in the bag.
But yesterday night rain bad.

Can you please help me push this to the fp. I need suggestions asap!

What did you do to yours to restore it to it's normal state of health? Mine is not coming on again, but i guess it might be the battery.

Thank you everybody for your useful suggestions, my pc is working fine now but the screen still seems kind of wet.

I don't think you are supposed to switch it on, you should have removed the battery and leave it for days to dry out. Hurriedly putting it in may cause more damage if not permanent one. It will take days or take to engineer to open it so he can dry it.

Looks like a palm top,it can be easily dismantled, dismantle it and leave it out to dry,if you don't know how contact ifixit.com or check YouTube ,if that doesn't work remove your hard drive and sell it as scrap, the laptop isn't expensive so it'd no huge loss

Okay if it is only the screen and not the motherboard. I think engineers can easily fix that

Always move around with a poly nylon in your bag. Carry at least two. So you put the laptop wrapped in it, and then in your laptop bag whenever you experience unexpected drenches. Otherwise stay out of the rain completely

You suppose dey carry am inside bag wey water no fit enterm

Switch am off, put am inside rice and leave it for a full day.

Remove the battery and take it to an enginerr , they will use There dryer to dry it

You would have allowed it to dry before turning it on

It will dry by itself as time goes on. That is if it is on the screen alone.

That heavy rain yesterday for Eko e finish me , no where to hide with the strong winds, even the bus stops here in Lagos was like where you dey under the rain I cook the phone small for dry pot with gentle heat but still not coming up.

The rain is so serious that i just waste my money at viewing centre, service no gree make we watch liverpool match, na livescores we dey check for viewing centre.
