Check the first page of your award letter. There should be a number that starts with FSB/NAxxx something like that.

Go with both. The verification seems like its just a mere formality. I have a course mate that didn't attend our second verification because she couldn't get her results on time. She was still paid. The payment even came before verification. Just go with both.
