ohisky2:So if you did your biometrics in Abuja TLS you can use this link so long as its up to 15working days to complain that other TLS like Ikeja are getting but we are not. Maybe if we disturb them they will do something by next week. One of my Kenyan friends that did biometrics 30 march sent a complaint that he was skipped and he collected his visa today. Its totally free. https://www.gov.uk/complain-uk-visas-immigration 2 Likes |

This is the message i sent to them today. I think TLS abuja is slow. Someone did 1st of april in lagos and already collected his visa today Hello I got this same response "your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision" on the 20th of april 2022. Please kindly advise how long it takes to get a decision? I have seen people that did Biometrics on the 5th of april gotten a decision now and others that did after me gotten a decision. Is there any problem with my own application? The first response I got said that I will receive an update "Very shortly" which I am yet to receive an update till now. Please kindly advise when a decision can be made (Time frame) so that i can plan accordingly Please advise ohisky2: |

I was at TLS Abuja Office today just to make an enquiry what is really delaying my application, the guy collected my slip n checked for me because I told him that have applied since 29th March still waiting for decision. He advice me that I should sent a message to gov.UK in which have done that. I wish myself a good luck. |

Ekeadatrust: normally it's supposed to be 3 weeks for work and study visa and 6 weeks for visiting. however we are seeing people from Lagos get theirs in a much shorter time frame while the "slight delay" we were told to expect has turned into total blackout |

If you have sent a paid email, no need to pay again to send another, just reply the email they sent you and save your money. I replied the email they sent me to know the status of my application after my paid emial on monday and this is what i got. “ a decision has been made”

Longjonjoe: Decision made email doesn’t mean Visa approval or Visa denial. Wait till your passport is available for pickup then you will know the outcome after you pick it up 1 Like |

Longjonjoe:I doubt. From experience as long as the decision mail did not come with a refusal letter, you will most likely get the visa. 2 Likes |

Oma6090:Is wrong Any person that make enquirer usually get this responds, they will not send refusal email when your passport is with them until you pick your passport to know the outcome or less you choose to keep your passport before you get such email on refusal or email to bring your passport if on the case of visa approval. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 8:13pm On Apr 29, 2022 |
HRprof:hian brother…. Where did you get your own information from? UKVI sends refusal email to inbox/spam/junk whether keep my passport or not. It comes in at any time after biometrics if you are not going to be issued the visa, anytime.. As long as you have been refused , 99% of cases, wait for rejection email and you will get it irrespective of your passport’s location. In the past, they’ll put your rejection letter inbetween your passport, since covid they switched to e-refusal. The 1% is for those they forgot to send out the rejection email or some technical delays, when the applicant picks up his/her passport and looks inside, there’s usually no visa and no refusal email in inbox, they then reach out to UKVI for explanation and then boom refusal email will trickle in. Pls everyone keep refreshing inbox/spam/junk. 3 Likes |

Hello, Hotel booking is not a very important criteria in decision making towards visit visa. There are lots of hotels you can book and pay on arrival through booking dot-com if you are bothered about this. With your application it is already submitted, just hope for the best Cheers Carim19: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by royalmu: 8:00am On Apr 30, 2022 |
Carim19:Have you gone for biometrics? If yes, there is nothing you can do about it other than to hope and pray the ECO doesn't try to verify your accommodation booking. If you haven't gone for biometrics, you can still do something about it. |
