For me abstinence for a long time helps with semen thickness and quality and concentration

I think this is my case, I masturbated like once a day in the past, but know semen quality, I dont just know if masturbation causes azoospermia or oligospermia. When I read online, the agreed it reduces semen quality which will revive after some days. Now I'm in a cross road, and I'm so down. I dont know what to do anymore

Last year August count was 29million motility was 20% morphology was 60% no bacteria, then we started treatment with a fertility doctor to increase motility, he kept assuring us everything was ok, until we decided to test outside his lab,, we were shock to see count 6mill motility 10% morph60% we left him then i came here NL we started taking addyzoa Vit c,zinc,d3 etc recent test after 6wks shows count 2.6mill count 25% morph 80%
Pls wht could be the course of all this,, is becoming frustrating and financially draining

When you say motility was it total (A+B) or just the active (progressive)?
Let him do a scrotal scan something is killing off the sperm cell produced. Varicocele may be a culprit here

Yeah i meant progressive ones,,scrotal scan has been done twice, one said torsion the other said epydimittis not sure of the spelling,,, I thought varricocele has to do with the vein twisted or enlarged? Nothing like that down there

Those 2 needs to be taken care of. Now he needs to be given antibiotics that is sperm friendly, some kills sperm and reduces the count. Doxycycline I know is sperm friendly so he can start on that then continue the supplements.

He will get better, epididymitis is treatable

That is the thing he doesn’t have it,, how can one have epididymitis without any infection.. culture yielded no growth, blood and urine also was done and yielded no growth,,the scan is obviously wrong

Men do have high prolactin and low testosterone which affect the sperm count in a way that no drugs work.
