She applied for visiting visa for her toddler, it costs 100 CAD.

You probably applied for student visa for your 10 year old and student visa costs 150CAD

CharitoJames:

Wow... when filling the form did you say you won’t be paying for your toddler? Or you won’t be paying for your application? Because they asked and you are to choose either yes or no. Or is it a case where toddlers are not to pay for application? Maybe because i paid for a 10year old. But kindly confirm to be sure

Depends on your bank. I know GTB request for MyBankStatement on their internet banking platform while you have to visit a branch to request for MyBankStatement for Access Bank.

I personally prefer MyBankStatement. it the size is usually less than 400kb and just 1 page.

I submitted sales receipts ,letter of completion and allocation of lands for lands I bought from a real estate companies when submitting my application. However, I will like to know if I should raise a web form to submit deed of assignment or those documents are enough for land purchase.

It should be helpful. You can also google SOPs.

I think you can get it with a lower division, I got an admission in GBM for a graduate certificate in same Algonquin.
Wow
Thanks for this sir. I was about to give up.

But it looks more like architecture specifically requires an upper division.

Did you also get a similar mail where it's stated that you need an upper division?

Thanks as always Leki. Always coming to our rescue.
1. Her cgpa is out of 4.
2. Her last two years gpa was 2.6/4.0.
3. She did not get a supervisor first. She just applied.
4. She sent both a chinese and english transcript to the school.

She is currently confused on what course to take considering her educational background and future job opportunities in maple land.

Ok

Many things might have caused her not to get the admission

As required by the department the Pol. Science faculty

- Her last two years might not be enough (70% upward )

- Her Statement of intent (also known as SOP for admission) might not be convincing enough. They require 70-75% GPA in her last two years in the University.

- Her writing sample in English might not be dope enough etc.

- Her not securing a supervisor before applying can be part of why she didn't get the admission

- It's possible the admission committee of uvic didn't see course prerequisites that can make her good a fit (eligible) for a Masters in Political Science

- Competition as well with others etc.

As it is said on Uvics website, she needs to secure a supervisor before applying for the admission, cos most of these Canadian Universities, securing a Prof. makes the application of an applicant solid and it's usually a requirement for a thesis-based Masters in Canada

Your niece know her strengths and areas she has ability in. She needs to seat down and do research on the area or areas she knows within herself that she has potentials, Strength in as related to her undergraduate background.

Due to what she studied in China, She might want to consider the likes of

Masters in Economics

Masters in Accounting

Masters in Finance

MBA

Masters in Insurance

Masters in Marketing

Masters in International Relations with research focus on Economics or International trade

Await additional suggestions from others

Regards

Which state do you reside? The non enhanced passports are easier to get. Most state are still issuing it.

seggzzy:
Good day Gurus in the house. I gained admission into Niagara college this year March for Post Graduate Course, schl to resume September,2022. My questions:

1) My passport expires April 29th, but I have applied for passport renewal since April 4th. My capturing date is May 19th.

But I was told collection of passport may extend to end of June and I want to use the passport to process visa application. School resumption is September, this year and visa processing is longer nowadays.
I wrote the school to defer the admission and they said the program only take place once in a year, that next intake should be September 2023. Alternatively I should take another course. I have checked, other courses available are diploma, no other PGC. I have B.Eng already.

Should I defer to next year or there is a way to fast track collection of passport and will I still be able to get visa to meet September resumption? Thanks for your anticipated response.

Good day, Mr Anon123.

Thanks for the professional advice that you continuously give to applicant free of charge, May God bless you richly.

I am a graduate of Chemistry, Second class lower.
My career path in the last ten years has been more of Site supervision and management.

From the Nairaland thread, I realized that the preferred program to go for is a two years PGD.

I have checked more than 50 colleges and still counting to search for colleges that have PGD in chemistry related courses, the best fit so far are the 2 colleges stated below:

(1) Kwantlen Polytechnic University (Kwantlen University College)
Admission requirement :
The Technical Management and Services (TMAS) program is designed for emerging technical professionals who have competed a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical program such as applied sciences or information technology
Url: https://calendar.kpu.ca/programs-az/business/technical-management-services/

(2) Lambton college
Admission Requirements
A university degree in Science, Pharmacy or Engineering with appropriate preparation in Maths and Chemistry
Url: https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147510964&location=Toronto

Please should i expand my search to include business or management program based on my Site supervision and management role,
Or which other PGD program should I include in my search?

Thanks for your support and prompt response.

Anon123:

The chances of meeting the admission requirements is low.

A PGD is your best bet
