Men & brethren, is there anyone who has recently processed S.L because from my current experience,it seems there is an embargo on processing of S.L in Germany especially since the hit of Ukraine crises..My own that I sent back to Germany for updating is yet to get the attention of German immigration officers according to the report I got from my sponsor......who else has something to say about this ugly development?

Depends on the city. It's a general crisis, but some places move faster than others. The best you can do is to be patient. They'd get back to you soon.

If your SL has exceeded six months from the date it actually started counting (always written on it), that means you have to return back to your sponsor in Germany for updating at his city's immigration office there. Else you go to interview with it and it will become a "bounced Cheque".

Wow! Thanks bro I never knew about this, from what I read somewhere it’s said to be valid for 6 months if you’re seeking for Schengen visa, if you’re applying for National visa it’s valid for 5years. That means since my own will be completing six months this month I should get another one? Please help a brother.

It's an arrangement/agreement you should have reached with your sponsor in the sense that you should have discussed with him about the difficult chances of getting appointment date in Nigeria and then ask him how he intends to assist you by updating the S.L for you latter Incase you did not succeed in securing appointment date within the first six months of issuance.
This agreement is very important because alot of dubious people are people now taking advantage of ugly development in Nigeria to extort other people. They do this by doing S.L for Mr. A in Nigeria, collect their cash, knowing fully well that there is no appointment date in Nigeria unless after almost a year. They will manage to wait for six months and immediately negotiate with Mr. B for same purpose knowing fully well that Mr. A ( S.L) will become a "bounced Cheque" after six months.
With the recent developments at German consulate Lagos, it is now advisable to go for S.L when you are sure that you are dealing with men of integrity else .........
May God crown our little effort.

We have hausa, yoruba and igbo in cotounu and yoruba language is common among cotounu people, If you are asked if you can't speak french, simply tell them no because you stayed among one of this for six months(hausa, igbo or yoruba). Your residence permit shows you had stayed for six months. It is has never been an issue in germany embassy.

First ask the person the requirements, I know you must have an emirate card and to get emirate card its not that easy, is either you buy it and you look for a job, to buy the emirate card is more than 600k, so asked the person to give you the full details

Last year.
That should be before summer semester last year.

I explained the situation to the school and took a leave of absence... So I think applying for a leave from school can help anyone cover up the 1 year waiting period.

No need ,
Go to your university as ask for a document from the registrar that confirms that English is the main language of instruction in your university. Officially stamped. You can use that as proof for your English language proficiency

i know what you said here is clear
but when i saw it i was so excited and just felt i should confirm if this document covers so many universities in Germany

Please house, this JJC don come again o!

I want to apply for date ASAP but I don't know if I'm cat A or B.

I have admission to a masters course. I graduated with 2:1 although I have a masters degree already. I am being confused especially by this part: "Applicants holding a BA degree with a grade of 1. Class".

Please what category applies to me?

Your category is B.

By the way, I hope you have a reasonable explanation for going for another masters? Because they may ask you about that.

Hello everybody.
So I applied for Ausbildung visa last year April 16th (2021) and it's already a year considering the whole 1 year waiting period ( before one can get an appointment date at the embassy). And by the grace of God I got my Ausbildung contract for nursing starting October this year.

So my reason of writing is that I haven't gotten any response from the embassy regarding my appointment for an interview and my starting date is fast approaching. sad

Please anyone here with contact, email address on how I can reach the consulate in Lagos....in order to get an appointment date.

I await your response(s) in earnest.

Thankyou all in advance.

Thank you for your response. I thought about the second masters thing too and I asked a friend who is in Germany. He said the most important is the documents, that if I have everything complete, then the questions and answers is by the way. Can I rely on that counsel?

Stick with your Bachelors. My personal opinion.

To avoid unnecessary questions.

Ordinarily, after masters... Your next progression should be Phd.

You mean I should hide my Master's degree entirely?

If yes, having had my bachelor's since 2012, will the 10 years in-between not generate questions too?

I had a long term visa list B appointment at the consulate today 3rd May 2022. I presented all documents however the money transfer made has not gotten to the blocked account as at the time of the interview.

I presented the receipt of the transfer and the debit details but I was told there won't be an interview without the confirmation of the blocked account.

Fortunately, I got the confirmation details thirty minutes after leaving the Consulate, I rushed back but I was sent back by Mr Paul and told to send a mail.

Guys, how do I go about it? thank you for your inputs

Send an email to them stating your case. You can also call them.. they can help you reschedule. While sending an email include the emails you received when you booked an appointment and when you were given an appointment date. In most cases they usually attend to such predicaments faster.
