Peter Obi did a better Job when compared to Obiano The only thing that kept Peter's Transormation from being much in the public space was because he have a very pool media team from my opinion.
Only what actually gave Obinna a boost was the Airport, Apart from that, he did a very pool job compared to Peter.
we've been asking the people that know a lot about his govt to list his achievements but.....

Put up the most indebted Countries in the world and you will find America as Number one and China as number two

This are serious countries like Lagos State

Lagos IGR in a year can comfortably pay up it's little loans used to build critical infrastructure like rail, and metro system

.
Nonsense comparison. Those countries can easily forfeit those dept. But your Lagos keep going from dept to dept with any hope of it being forfeited. One man has raped you and your lagosians sense from time immemorial and you're ignorantly jubilating. Spit

Rational statement indeed. Please do not be ignorant of what Peter Obi did. For a starter, Peter Obi linked all the towns in Anambra with major roads. Headbridge in Onitsha up the way to Army barrack was neglected for a very long time, and nothing to write home about, But Peter Obi did the needful.
Although I do not expect you to know all these because you have never visited Anambra and will never know what I'm talking about. Everything should not be about politics.

The kind of achievement required from a productive president in Nigeria goes beyond building roads. Infrastructure is essential and must continue to receive attention but that is not what would make the next president of Nigeria "great".

There are some structural changes that need to happen that would set a foundation for a progressive Nigeria even after the president leaves. These structural changes require world class internal politics at the highest levels of power in this country.

If Peter Obi can't play ordinary PDP politics, how will he handle the kingpins that run the helms of affairs in this country? Remember, these kingpins are in the Oil and Gas sector, Power generation and distribution sector, Importation and Exportation, Military and national security, internal government politics, etc.

Status quo must be disrupted for serious changes to happen in this country. The cabal is waiting and the next president must be ready and able to face them head on.

Put up the statistics of the most indebted states in Nigeria and you will find your Lagos in number one position with billions of dollars debt. It's your thieving god with his cocaine addiction that put you in that position and you wickedly want to rig him in as the country's next president. You are one of the pee poo your pee poo president will govern in your pee poo republic come 2023.

Are you admitting that truly Peter Obi didn't really do much to Anambra state aside from the fact that he didn't leave the state's coffer in debt? Or you stylishly want to use Tinubu and Lagos state debt portfolio as a Vail to divert attention from Peter Obi's shortfalls?

For a fact...I'm not a supporter of any politician. Even if my papa turn to politics today, I'll face front and let him run his show. I don't hold any of them to any esteem because all what's on display in Nigeria is madness. True leadership is alien to the African people right from the dawn of time.

Kings sold their subjects as slaves during the precolonial era. Today, Buhari is mortgaging the future of this country in the name of borrowing. Before him, GEJ surrounded himself with thieves he called ministers except for madam Ngozi Okonjo...

Before GEJ was OBJ whom under his watch, NEPA was sold with an irrevocable license to a company that lacks the resources to deliver on its mandate. The list is endless.

Abeg leave politics to those thieves. Nothing is gonna change in this country unless they change that thing we call constitution and make it brutal on political officers who mismanage public funds.

Nothing will change even when Nigeria produces above capacity,

The said criminals that the rubber stamped minister of finance made assertion of are the indigenous owners of the land and oil deposits while the real thieves and barawo are the northern pest that would use the northern army to hound and deprive them of their resources,

Nigeria is gone to the dogs,

You actually understimated Peter Obi. Peter Obi Looks Very gentle physically But a No Nonesense Personality if you try to undermind His Authority. He dealt with hoodlums and touts decisively during his term as a Governor.

But No matter what, The Next President of Nigeria will really find it difficult to dislodge the cabals. These set of people seem to have planted their cronies deep Into each position of powers that it will be Very difficult to dismantle them.

have u been to anambra before? Forget all those stats u are posting, IGR and umemployment bla bla bla, no states rank ahead of anambra in IGR are nothing compared to that state interns of standard of living, infrastructure and education. In the IGR u posted, a certain north central state is no where near anambra in everything but they are ranked higher interns of IGR

Do you think any lender will willing to lend Anambra the type of money they lend yo Lagos?

Lagos has good credit ratings because of it's huge potentials. Though I have my reservation that it'll have done better without Tinubu

Nigeria is a country blessed with so much human and natural resources, strategically populated and position for greatness but yet unlucky with bad leadership over time.

Ordinarily Nigeria should be cashing out from this window but bad leadership won't make us gain from it.

Selling resources will not make the country rich. Also bad leadership is not our problem. I sincerely pity people who have the mindset that Nigeria need a good leader to restore the country. This is a huge fallacy!

Nigeria is a poor country. In the 60's it used to be a country with potentials to be rich. That was when the term "Nigeria is a rich country" was being used. As of today the entire riches the country possess has been stolen and squandered. To even pay staff salaries, your country go borrowing. No amount of crude oil we sell now will be enough to pay staff salaries. Know this and know peace

It's not going to be easy. Moreover, Nigeria is a member of OPEC. What it implies is that the amount of oil production is regulated unlike Russia that's not a member.

The troubles with us as a country is that we are not prepared for this upcoming blessings in disguise through the War between Russians and Ukraine!
-Your refineries have not been in full capacity;
-Your Crude is just being lifted from our yards without any statistics of how much Is being accounted for!
This is not good for a nation with high unemployment rate like Nigerian.
If we refined our Crude here,as Dangote is about to do,Youth will have more Employments,as rude oil will generate more Income from:
-PMS- your petrol for cars
-AGO- Black Oil in many Industrial goods/ Machines
-Cream/ grease and many businesses will spring up.
-Fertilizers will create chains of Farmers Jobs
-Aviation Oil- fuel for Planes and Aircrafts
-and many, many more, including Integration- forward and backward!
The above is what we have been loosing since independence and when they( foreigners were sold crude oil) , Nigeria leaders are not doing us good, because they sold Crude Oil as they help to create employment for other nations abroad
That's what we learned in economics classes then that ' Africans are suppliers of Raw Materials to the Europeans and other nation' and up till now,we are still doing it. When are we going to change the narratives? So,why can't we do the right thing?
Kudos to Dangote then, for his forthright in establishment of the biggest Refineries!
That is the beginning of the Industrial growth, provided Electricity Supply is allowed to be functional and 24/7 in all the States of Federation.
Nigeria will be great again!

Same Peter Obi that couldn't develop Anambra for 8 years while Oil sold above $50

No airport, No rever port, No increase in GDP, No metro busses like BRT, No new Stadium, nothing just boreholes and school desktop computers

Anambra ranks 16 out of the 36 States in Nigeria in terms of GDP and Economy yet you wickedly want us to vote someone that can't fix his state because of ethnic and religious sentiment

.

Keep sourcing from Wikipedia that is easily altered. The same Anambra did better than Lagos in Fiscal performance index only bested by Rivers. The same Peter Obi managed Anambra resources so well that the state had savings in USD and Naira. For a stare that had little revenue and is non oil producing and far from Lagos Ports they have done so well.

Not to descredit his performance over partisan politics... I never said he didn't do anything in 8 years, he just wasn't extraordinary as the previous poster wants us to blindly believe

I have never being to Akwa Ibom but I have had enough developmental strides of the state that it's part of my next travel destinations

Bro all the flyovers, bridges in onitsha and Awka were built by Peter obi. We Abians use to mock our governor then with the road and development in Peter obi time, all the government schools has free buses with the roads to the schools been built. Security was not that bad. The guy is a quiet that why people don’t talk much about him.
