She doesn't really need to ask. It probably skipped the tutor's list cos they are usually taught the health benefits of sex during pregnancy. However, she should feel free to ask.

Like someone already advised, it is healthy and safe provided she lies on her side (left rib facing down) and you go from behind.

You need to have sex with her consistently now…. It would expand the vagina opening so she won’t have tears…. It is really safe to have sex with her now…

If your wife is down with it, why not....Your baby won't grab your kini....and doesn't even have the slightest idea what's going on...
Sex positions safe for you both include: sex from behind(do.ggy), cow girl( if she can), reverse cowgirl, spooning, standing with you behind, Sitting by the edge of the bed etc....but in all this, you need pillow support where necessary and will also need to support her with your arms where needed too.
