It is sad but what do you want them to do?
Private transport system is based on competition.
They don't receive any steady salary. NO.
They must go back and forth many times to carry many passengers, and settle those BASTARD Agberos ... FIRST always collecting their money, without working.
This is why bus drivers have to speed so much.
They minimize expenditure on vehicle maintenance since they're charging low fares and losing lots of money to Agberos.
BEAT all the BASTERED LAZY Agberos in Lagos and send them away from the roads.
This will give motorist rest of mind on the roads and they can drive slower and safely.
Not just commercial drivers, private car owners too.

It is appointed unto man once to die after this the judgment. Life is like a balloon once it's punctured it can't be amended. Let's think about our lives how we live, is it according to the word of God or what? The soul that sinneth it shall die, eternal death for that matter.

The only way out of eternal death is to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, run away from sin and its acts. Then you are sure of getting to heaven at the end.
Don't suffer in this part of the world and still go to hell and suffer with Satan there. Think twice.

The kind of speed motorists drive on that bridge, I wonder where there are rushing to. Bridge with expansion gaps that aren't okay.

I will still blame The FRSC. They will leave all all the rickety 1925 commercial vehicles plying our roads and be running after innocent private vehicles for road worthiness, fire extinguishers, C- caution and worn out tyres.

[b]Trust me, the kind of accidents that happen on Nigeria roads, do not happen in any other country.[/b]And, this is not just as a result of bad roads, but the desperation and frustration by most of the drivers. Overspeeding, drinking and driving, and ignoring vital signs in their vehicle.
That aside, Nigeria have the worst and slowest emergency system in the world



In saner climes ... where emergency response takes minutes ... with experienced emergency professional personnel arriving at the scene... fully equipped ... to treat victims at the scene and while being rushed to an Emergency Room at a well equipped hospital... with the stats below... why should we trust you? If you so much hate your own country walk out of it instead of spitting lies to drag it through the mud.

@ topic.....speeding is a major factor.... but also tyre pressure. I can't name another country where blow outs are as common as in Nigeria and this is due to not following tyre pressure instructions. 50 psi instead of 32 is standard for most 'vulcanizers' ... that's a blow out waiting to happen. Drivers don't know any better and don't care. If investigators should check... I'm almost sure they'll find the remaining types over inflated... but would they even think of checking?... even they don't know better. Whatever vehicle you're driving... know the required tyre pressure and make sure it is not exceeded.

You could be driving at 25km per/hr on that bridge and one trailer with a faulty break will just ramm into you.

Lagos State commercial drivers are the worst fools I ever see.

They won't listen when passengers are warning them and telling them to slow down.

They are always quick to tag any passenger that tell them to slow down a witch.

Lastma, VIO focus on danfo buses, make sure they are safe, these are public transportation, more important to check this than private cars.

Trailers don't use 3rd mainland bridge.

From road safety report. 3rd mainland bridge accidents occur when the bridge is free.

Also, when you drive at normal speed , the impact won't be that serious.
