Hello guys, I don’t know the estimation of amount I need in my account for POF;
Balance of my tuition fee: 8,500 pounds
My living expenses: 1023 X 9 = 9207 pounds
Only One dependant (living expenses): 680 X 9= 6120 pounds
Total: 23,827 pounds.

Pls what is the estimated amount in Naira for my POF?

NOTE: I stand to be corrected if my calculation is wrong.

It been more than 8 years I used my UBA account, can I still use them for Form A application, PTA ?.

And does anyone knows how fast is first bank in approving both form A and PTA, and which branch is the best.

Please respond

Your account mearnt have being dormant now
Just go to any branch and reactivate it , they my request your nepa bill or utility bills plus an id card or international passport,

Marina there head office is the best branch on the form a , but any other branch is also fast.
Good luck.

Hello

Minimum wage per hour is per age group. The highest used to be £8.91 but it's been recently reviewed last month to £9.50,I don't know how soon companies have to implement this though.

There is nothing like maximum rate, this depends on the company you work for and experience.

You can look at this link for more information: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-national-minimum-wage-in-2022

I have reactivated it. Just concern maybe they will approve it since I have not been using the account for so long. Anyone use firstbank or wema?

So long the account is active and documents are complete, your form A processing is sure. Even the bank need your charges for the ministry to move on.

Good evening all, please a quick question, I intend to pay for my IHS and visa fees on Wednesday; 4th May this week. I was told after payment I will then proceed to pick a centre which cannot be changed..

I intend to pick ikeja centre.. but my fear is if the date 9th of May will be available because that's when I wish to go for my biometric...

Is the booking date too close to the biometric date? Will I get 9th of May or should I chose another centre where I can get guarantee of 9th of May?

Please I need advice

you should use the Oanda conversion rate. Check on the gov.uk website, the approved link is there. when it takes you to the conversion link (i think its under how much money you'll need tab), you can do your conversion.

Just make sure you add a margin to buffer FX fluctuation costs. e.g., if exchange rate is 400, your base calculation should be like 410, or thereabout to give you a slight upward margin during conversion

Hello,

No one holds the TLS app to guarantee that you will get the date you want.

Whatever date is available you might have to book it and then try the option that can allow you walk in to the center if it is available.I think it is called the Flexi ( you may need to pay extra for that)

Cheers

Good morning people. Please help:
I am about to commence my visa application and I need guidance on a few things:
1. Do I need my national population birth certificate as proof of birth?
2. How do i source funds for my IHS and Visa fees? Do I have to buy black market or can I use flywire to make the payment?
3. My school did not ask for proof of english language but I got an unconditional offer, do I need to submit my waec certificate during visa application or my CAS would cover for that?
4. How do I apply for my dependants?
5. Is it necessary to declare a visa refusal from Canada during my application?

Any practical information would be well appreciated. Thank you.

Is there any teesside hopeful here , it's like I'll have to pay the deposit before even getting unconditional offer at all.
Anyone with same condition?

Be careful of that school. The issue with the school isn't about getting unconditional admission offer, but issuance of CAS. It's quite an herculean task.

They may disappoint you at the end of the day, even after paying your tuition deposit.

Good day everyone.
Thank you all for your contribution on this thread.

I'm new here and would need clarifications on some issues.
First my program is a 2-year diploma night course. I purposely choose the night option so as to be able to work during the day. I have a provisional offer from the institute, which I have accepted though I am yet to make the fee deposit and write IELTS. My program start date is September 2022. I'm apprehensive that I am starting the application a bit late, following information gathered here concerning wait times for TB screening and other requirements. My question now is if I start application now, will I meet up with September start date? Secondly, can I book a date for the TB without having started an application. At this point what's the first thing I should do? Write IELTS or start the application?

Night course. Wonderful.

This is strange.

I want to pay my deposit this week but anyone who knows about both schools should please provide insight. I have researched and researched and they are both good but firsthand information can help as well.

I’m looking at the best in terms of job opportunities after school, affordable city to live while studying among other things.
Thanks.

Thank you @duchess90.

The program is a 2 year diploma with option of either day or night(For student who intend to work) It's not a full time program. Qualifications is AMI Diploma.

Concerning the IELTS, I did speak with the admin but he insisted that with IELTS they won't be able to sponsor the visa.

Can I Dm you for further details please?
duchess90:
Hello,

Few questions what level of qualifications is stated in your offer?

Is this a part time course or full time?
Are you aware part time visa holders are not eligible to work?

Visa eligibility also has alot to do with the level of course.

With regards to September,I think you should still be within the time frame if you get things sorted soon but these questions are key if you have the answers

Also alot of people have mentioned their WAEC certificate was sufficient and they didn't need to write IELTS,but you need to clarify with your school

Cheers

I don't think the date of the marriage actually matters.

I have had a few guys return to marry their babes after coming to the UK and all got to process their Visas immediately after the wedding to join them. Having extra evidence uploaded would be a good idea, but I don't think there is anything wrong with the marriage being too close to travel. If you are so scared, apply for the student first and then immediately apply for the partner once the first visa is issued.

Congratulations to u ... sorry .. your friend grin

Anyway the date of your wedding is immaterial provided you have long proof of relationship, letters/mails, messages, pictures will serve as proof if they call for more evidence
