Really? Do you realize that in the event of a total ban if a 12 year old girl is raped by a mentally ill stranger and becomes pregnant, she will be forced to give birth to that baby? The child can become a joy for someone else if the mother chooses to give the child away. Before the Roe vs Wade decision, women went to back alley doctors and had illegal abortions which would often fail resulting in a severely disabled child being born and sometimes the mother dying. Even if all of the states choose not to outlaw it, you’ll have huge amounts of girls and women resorting to unsafe methods adding to social problems that others will be tasked with finding solutions for.

If you do then maybe you know that whether or not people accept it, the country is starting to suffer from the negative effects of overpopulation and the continued growth is not sustainable. You are the person in the dark. I asked you a simple question, is the baby in the womb a living being or not? If it is, then abortion is murder as it amounts to taking a person's life without their consent. If on the contrary the baby in the womb is not a living being then people should not be charged with homicide for the death of babies in the womb. Grievous bodily harm maybe but definitely not homicide. The baby in the womb is either a living being or not, the definition of that can't change as it suits you. If that baby in the womb is a living being then it's no longer about a woman having agency over her body because another person's body and life is also involved.
