Odeyssy to Siena? Bro Siena is better. Odyssey is good too but in comparison Sienna the gap is wide, my opinion though base on experience in both.

Personal use and cost of acquiring honda Odyssey is okay but for the love of your sanity, don't buy the EX-L and touring trim with the VCM engines just buy LX or EX.

Commercial use and ruggedity sienna is better though more expensive in price than odyssey

2005Oddessy is not even up to 2k dollars in the USA

If it’s for commercial purposes, go for the sienna: anything other than that, I’d pick the odyssey over the sienna any day anytime. I’ve driven both cars and I can tell you the odyssey beats the Sienna in terms of handling, stability, speed, and comfort. They are both durable cars just that the odyssey requires an owner with good maintenance attitude.

2005 Honda odyssey is better because it's IV-TEC 3.5 liter engine is more economical, smoother, faster ,has lesser carbon emissions and can run a very high mileage up 350000kms than the 2005 Toyota Sienna.
Mind you, the 2005 odyssey gear box is very strong and reliable compared to it's predecessor.
In terms of general comparison, styling and practicality, the Odyssey also wins it because it has more features and the interior space is well reserved.
You can check on YouTube to find out yourself.
Toyota sienna is also good but Honda odyssey is better and the odyssey becomes a better companion to the family.

If the Odeyssey does not use timing belt. And you are prepared to change the rear complete arm once in a while, go for Honda.

For sienna, just be mindful of the belt and follow recommended interval changing of the timing belt and engine oil.

Option B, take sienna
But if you have any smaller car or other means of transportation powerbike/suv then Go for HONDA, its a Mid class-full luxury unlike sienna that's very DRY. But when it comes to 2nd valuing then the over hyped toyota will save ur as. I have used 2 toyota product I gained small in resale... but BMW/BENZ still the best... sold my 1st BMW to yahoo boy the guy use am reck.. 2 yrs started seeing the car faulty all around ringroad . The one I am using now still dope n strictly maintained i hope next buyer won't disappoint me.. all those EDD boys don hear weeehenn! Fr dem benz n lexus[especially sensors] . German car are SATISFACTORY PRODUCTS.
