These are 2 different routes,if your company is happy you can work full-time and study part time.

My advise, defer your admission, get your skilled workers visa, when you have worked for awhile and hopefully have a good record, discuss with your employer on the possibility of studying part time.This is what I am currently doing, I work full time with a Government department and my PhD research is part time(fully sponsored)

Most companies will grant you as long as it doesn't affect their business, they also see this as development and career growth for their employees. The only caveat is that the course may need to be related to your job , that way it is easier to show it will help you become more productive, creative and give you insights on your role.

Hello everyone, I have searched for UK universities that would accept WASSCE or GCE for English language requirements, I'm yet to see any, most I've seen still require some form of presessional course on English Language (I'm literally confused on what that means). I'm also drained by the idea of taking IELTS or any other English language qualification test. I hope to apply for Ph.D and also have a letter of English Language Proficiency from my institution... Please, I will appreciate suggestions of schools in UK that do not require IELTS and it's likes. Please help!!!

I think others who recently paid this have advised. Ideally you should be able to pay with your debit card but then again maybe the new limits may not allow that.

Maybe others can advise on how you can make the payment.

Birth certificate from NPC is preferred but any other birth certificate should be fine as well.People go as far as notarizing it, I don't see the relevance though

3. Your CAS should say something about your English being assessed the last I remember, if not you may wish to include it

You have to apply for each dependant separately though

Please I just want to confirm is it possible for a single guy to work and pay the rest of his school fees with 20hours per week ?

His tuition fees balance is 5700pounds

He is expected to pay half by November and the rest by January

Please the guy doesn’t have dependent and he’s on the verge of giving up the whole process cause he feels like 20hours won’t cut it for him, knowing fully well he still have some other bills to pay like accommodation, feeding and transport.

The school is Uni of Derby
Please I want to ask if it is attainable to raise the rest of the tuition fees which is 5700 pounds within September to January working 20hours

My marriage certificate is from ikoyi and I just a mail from a school saying there is a specified format of certificates that mine doesn't look like it. This is a certificate I have used for years in even formal documentations, I don't understand them.

Mayb it’s because you’re applying for Ph.D. I would advice you write the IELTs.

They don’t require the tb test for CAS anymore,just your POF. So when your 28days is complete, send the immigration your financial evidence and you will get your CAS after verification.

Are you the single guy? Is the single guy you?

Anyway, you can do the math yourself and know if it is feasible.

You already know your tution balance and location. Do a rough search for cost of shared accommodation with bills inclusive in that area per month.
Then another rough estimate of what the bus transport may cost ( again easy search on Google), then how factor in your feeding (do you do 3square meals or 0-1-1?).

Once you get an estimate, check minimum wage of £9.50/Hr for the 20hrs /week. That will give you an idea.

Also remember towards the end of studies you need to start saving for PSW visa and you can work unlimited during holidays( you need to confirm from your school what days are truly holiday, this is usually a grey area and people will rather stick to 20hrs throughout study,holiday or not to avoid stories that touch).

Let's know your findings and maybe others can advise further

If UK universities can accept WAEC and GCE as English language requirements for masters they will certainly accept same for PhD.

PhD application is slightly different compared with Masters,some schools might need you to get a research supervisory team first, some may not.

My advise, look out for the uni of choice and research interests, reach out to the staff that shares same, you might need to submit your research proposal and then they will walk you through the process if they have space to take up a PhD student.
