andrewbaba44:Who is mentioning World cup? Read my reply to forgiveness, you will see my analysis dated back o AFCON. With the level of performance of Nigerian players this season, nobody should be made comfortable in the NT. Bar Ndidi, I'm not sure anyone is indispensable. The new coach should invite more wingers and if he finds someone better than Simon, nothing bad in dropping Simon for him. In one word, the coach should raise the level of competition in the team.... All this building the team around certain set of players na nonsense. Olayinka,Ejuke, Nwakaeme and others too are not doing bad. |

cc: do4luv14 Someone said Osimhen is average compared to Tammy because Tammy has scored a hundred goals. I said that Tammy's background played a big part in it. Then you people started arguing. The argument is even baffling. The articles and points were to show the edge of Tammy's background and how it helped. I kept on posting to show that there is no comparison. People like you kept arguing. I am yet to understand what the argument is about. 2 Likes |

Odunayaw: Saying I am deceiving myself is just you being evasive. I asked you a simple question. What are you arguing? What is your point? I have made my point clear. That Tammy's background played a part in his fast rise. I have gone as far as even showing in-depth reasons why he has an edge over Osimhen in the earlier part of his career. So saying I am clapping for myself will not count. What is your point and what are you arguing? 2 Likes |

codemaniacs: Your own case is baffling. Because you jumped in and have no idea of what you are supporting. This debate spun out of a point I made. Note again. This debate spun out of a point I made. So how can I stylishly claim a point I made from the onset that sparked a debate. You are now saying I am deceiving myself when you are clearly the one totally off in this matter. 1 Like |

do4luv14: There is what is called education. A blogger talking about changes he wants to see at Arsenal does not mean he should go to Arsenal and effect changes. People complaining about Pinnick does not mean they should start fighting to become NFF president. People come to this thread to express their opinions does not mean they want to become coaches. So why are you pained that I dropped articles pointing strategic footballing ideas? |

Kog45: So you want to compare Chaleroi, Wolfsburg, and Lille to the kind of Team Tammy had at Chelsea to work with. I repeat, his background gave him an edge to break into Chelsea. 1 Like 1 Share |

isan: Pellegrini did not win four domestic titles in a season. Pellegrini did not take us to the champions league finals. Guardiola just took us to the champions league semi finals after taking us to the finals just last season. Guardiola won the EPL breaking multiple records. He has won the EPL 3 times in four years. Just amazing. 1 Like |

fabyom: Why? We had Mendy clear the ball off the goal line. They tried. For 90 minutes Real Madrid did not have a shot on target. Congratulations to Real Madrid. We pick ourselves and start again. |

TheGoodJoe:Oh background abi,Yak Aiyegbeni had 96 EPL goals but had his background with amateur club Okomu oil in Edo,moving to Julius Berger, from there to Gil Vincent on loan and later Macabi Haifa in Israeli league. Oga,Tammy talent not background help him to break into Chelsea team or are you saying if he was born in Nigeria he wouldn't have had the opportunity. I gave you simple fact that Osimehn not good start with Wolfsburg made Tammy to have more career goals, now to you Tammy worked with a good team in Chelsea.....Sir,do you know how many UK born who have solid background than Tammy that failed to break into Chelsea team. Oga,Tammy is England international and having more career goals than Osimehn doesn't make him better than Osimehn cos it seems is insulting to say he had career goals than Victor. 2 Likes |

Kog45: Look at your Yakubu Aiyegeni point. Do you know if he was English with his talent, he would have the chance to break into teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, etc at a very young age? Yakubu doing well is in spite of limited opportunities. Tammy's case was with the addition of opportunities. Tammy joined Chelsea academy at 7 years old. Do you understand the leverage that is? It does not mean he did not work hard. There are very limited Nigerian footballers that had such an opportunity. Aiyegbeni did not have the chance of breaking into a team like Chelsea early. Yakubu did well despite limited opportunities. Same with Osimhen. That is my point. In what you wrote, you did not show how Yakubu Aiyegbeni had the kind of opportunity Tammy had. |

Kog45: Are you saying Tammy Abraham joining Chelsea at 7 years old is not a high-quality background to help him have a decent future in football? Please, that is the basis of forming these academies in the first place. To help these boys achieve their dreams. Arguing against this is arguing against the reason why clubs set up academies. |
