Odin13:Less than 2 years ago, IPOB was carrying placards doing rallies and not causing any issues but your Lord and personal savior, Buhari, decided to murder them in cold blood. We all saw the pictures and videos, what did you do then? Hundreds of unarmed Igbo youth were senselessly murdered during Python dance. You guys were hailing him for the murders, remember? Your hypocrisy stinks to high heavens. You're here forming fake love for the East, but you and your kind secretly pray for the entire East to burn down. Mark my words, West and North will burn to ashes before your prayers come to pass. You yorubas openly display wickedness for Igbos but the Igbos say they want out of this union but due to your fear of being left alone with your masters, the Fulanis. it's you yorubas who are loudest against Biafra. Igbos will get their Biafra and then the Fulanis will get free access to subjugate the Yorubas, and we'll never let you get refugee status in Biafra. Mark my words, it'll happen even if in the next 50 years |

Those people have been victimized and there family shot dead by security forces.. if you check well nothing has changed since security forces have been arresting them everything is getting messier and everyone is confused about what's happening in the south east right now even armed robbers and political thugs have high jacked this agitation of a thing so all the blame should go to this Buhari govt coupled with Igbo political leaders.. |

nairalee:Boko haram have always been a problem from the beginning ,their preaching was aggressive and violence motivated and against true tenets of Islam and they only had vulnerable members who are easily swayed with sweet words and felt anyone fluent in Arabic is knowledgeable, they got issues with other true Islamic bodies that promote peace. And the Leader of Boko haram have been invited to debates that he failed and was shown his lapses which he accepted in public but behind the scene he encouraged his members to violence out of arrogance. And politicians and external bodies seems to sponsor them later on. And they took advantage of the whole scenario to wreck havoc and the we against them (divide and conquer rule played itself also) some Non Muslims out of hate for Islam attributed their actions as represent Islam and makes it difficult for logical thinkers across faith to agree on common grounds to flush out hypocritical elements within their faith and those who pretend to be of their faith and act under it. |

Use propaganda's ;media gaslighting any resistance to the jihad. When Uthman Dan Fodio started Jihad (1804-1809) to conquer the Hausa States in Northern Nigeria and parts of Cameroon, his excuse was that he wanted to establish a pure form of Islam. That was a lie. He wanted to conquer the people, take over their land, and impose Fulani Emirs on them as their rulers. It was a geopolitical land grab shrouded in religious garb to deceive the unwary who were about to be enslaved. He succeeded. He conquered the Hausa States one state at a time, took their land and resources, and imposed Fulani Emirs, usually his relatives to rule with iron fist all the Hausa States. He named this area Sokoto Caliphate. His relatives who he made Emirs and village heads exercised absolute authority and control over the millions of Hausa people who before then had their independent governments. Those Emirs were dictators who exercised the power of life and death over the millions of Hausa people over whom they ruled. The Emirs seized all Hausa land, decreed that the land belonged to the Emirs and village heads who portioned them out to individual farmers, and demanded one third to half of the harvest the farmers gathered at harvest time. They also imposed other forms of taxes on the Hausa people who they called “talakawas” (commoners), distinct from the Fulani rulers who were the “aristocrats” (born to rule), a situation they justified using the medieval philosophy of “divine right of kings.” The Emirs did not only control the land of the Hausas, they exercised absolute control over anything and everything in their emirate. If the Emir took fancy to a commoner’s wife he simply asked that the wife be transferred to him; if he fancied a man’s daughter he ordered that the daughter be sent to him as a wife. If he liked any property belonging to a talakawa he simply ordered that it be transferred to him. These were orders that were carried out without question. If the Emir was displeased with the way a man reacted or behaved when the Emir took his wife, the Emir would order the man killed and it was done – no questions asked. The Emir shut down public highways and opened them at his pleasure. This is how the Hausa states lost their freedom and became a servile people ruled by a handful of despotic Fulani dictators called Emirs. Stiff military resistance by the Gwari of Southern Kaduna, the Angas, Birom, Chamba, Tiv, Idoma, and Igala, to the South and the Kanuri to the North East; plus difficult terrain, and the defeat and subjugation of the Sokoto Caliphate by the British colonialists combined to stop the Jihad of Uthman Dan Fodio and his march towards the south in 1809. Immediately after Nigerian Independence in 1960, descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio openly declared their intention to resume Jihad until they dip the Koran in the Atlantic Ocean. The leader of this second Jihad, Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduana of Sokoto, stated categorically that they will use the Gwari, Angas, Birom, Chamba, Tiv, Igala, Yoruba, and Idoma of the Middle Belt as tools to continue their military campaign to conquer the South. He insinuated that Nigeria is a plantation bequeathed to the Fulani by Allah and that the Fulani will milk it until it dies. The symbol of the resistance of Fulani enslavement of the South is Biafra. Biafra has continued to be the beacon to which every intelligent person residing in Southern Kaduna, Jos, Pankshin, Jalingo, through Wukari, Makurdi, Otukpo, Ankpa, Nsukka, Enugu, Onitsha, Owerri, Umuahia, Katsina-Ala, Obudu, Ikom, Abakaliki, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Opobo, Warri, Agbor, Asaba, and Uromi in the East to Ilorin, Okene, Ogbomosho, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Lagos, Ado Ekiti, Akure, Okitipupa, Benin City, and Sapele in the west must look to for freedom, self-determination and defeat of the Fulani scheme to conquer and enslave the South. We are not suggesting that every nation encompassing these cities should become Biafra. Far from it. Each nation in the geographical area called Nigeria must decide for itself whether it wants to continue to stay in Nigeria and become enslaved or get out of Nigeria and assume its own identity, freedom and nationality. Biafra has made its choice

subsidywise18:No Igbo man will support murder, blood is sacred to us and to spill blood on any land is sacrilegious. We're totally different from Northerner, everybody knows those ones don't value life. IPOB has been saying that they're not the ones doing these killings. Imo state governor said same, that the killings weren't by IPOB but Nasiru and Kamoru sitting in their face-me-I-slap-you apartment feel they know more than the state governor. When Imo State police headquaters was attacked, everyone who is familiar with that place knew there's no way that can happen without the support of those in power; the government quickly pinned it on IPOB without any investigations. When Gulak was murdered, the commissioner of police said it was done by IPOB without any investigations. It was when these two happened that I knew the government was trying to demonize IPOB, and it's funny when online bingos immediately accept whatever the government spew against Igbos simply because they hate Igbos. Don't worry, you'll see more killings and they'll say it's IPOB and online bingos will bay for blood 1 Like |

subsidywise18: I can bet you, they didn't do that willingly... Compared to what was obtainable in the north back then, alot of northerners were biased based on religious grounds. Most of the citizens were of the opinion that Islam was supposed to be the religion over there and sharia was to be given room to rule them...forgetting that they have non muslims as cohabitants. Now, terrorism is not selective. On this other hand, the cause of ipob/ugm/esn is obviously different from those hailers. Those hailers want to live life, do business and enjoy peace but ipob or whatever are taking advantage of the weak system due to ineffectual governance to succumb the citizens to this ridicule...they are not doing it as a cause nor passion....they want to survive, they don't want the terrorists to kill them Go and watch that video again and put your yourself in those market and okada guys in your shoe, you want make kpai as they move but will be forced to hail them sef... That is intimidation and imposition under duress not wishful support/hailing 1 Like |

This action is the result of the dispute between the Autopiloters and the DOS. The Directorate of State is the organisation within Ipob that was set up by Nnamdi Kanu. Leader: It is led by Chika Edoziem. Enforcer: The enforcer and head of the military wing (ESN) is Chinasa Nworu. Spokesman: The spokesman is Emma Powerful. Some speculate that Emma Powerful is Emmanuel Kanu, younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, while others say that Emma Powerful is just a name that anybody can use (similar to Jomo Gbomo). The Autopiloters After Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, Ipob (DOS) engaged a person to serve as director of Radio Biafra while Kanu was in detention. That person was Simon Ekpa. He took Kanu's place and he was the one broadcasting on Radio Biafra. However, the DOS sacked Simon Ekpa shortly afterwards because they said that he refused to sign the code of conduct for personnel of Radio Biafra and he was not doing what they wanted him to do. Simon Ekpa refused to go quietly and he accused the DOS of selling out to the government. Ekpa created his own faction of Ipob, called the Autopiloters (because he said that the Biafra struggle was now on autopilot) and he began replicating the structures in the DOS. The original faction of Ipob has the DOS, so Simon Ekpa created the DOE (Directorate of Emissary). Simon Ekpa also created his own version of ESN and M-Branch (the secret service wing of Ipob). There came an exchange of threats between Simon Ekpa and Chinasa Nworu. The DOS want Nnamdi Kanu released from jail, therefore they toned down their rhetoric and violent activities. However, Simon Ekpa said that the DOS had sold out to the government and that was why they were now tame. ESN kidnapped and killed the Labour Party candidate in Anambra (Agbasimalo) and Chinasa Nworu was angry about that and severely warned them. Simon Ekpa then made a video in which he threatened Nworu and said that he must stop threatening ESN members. The bottom line was that a lot of ESN members declared their loyalty to the Simon Ekpa faction of ESN and they have been staging terror attacks in the South-East. This belligerence has made many Ipob members to abandon the DOS and switch to Simon Ekpa. The DOS want to show that they can also be hard and they declared this sit at home. The armed men you see in this video are from the DOS faction of Ipob, not from Simon Ekpa's faction. Simon Ekpa has declared a different set of three days as sit-at-home days and I'm sure that his own fighters will also stage their show of force. Picture 1: Chika Edoziem. Picture 2: Simon Ekpa 1 Like 1 Share
