thanks brother... but am planning to apply for a diploma course in business administration.. i hope i will be admitted
You welcome

You might likely get the admission (admission ain't a problem) but during your Study Visa application, a Visa Officer will likely see no career progression in this path you wanna follow cos you have an HND which is higher than a Diploma ,going for a Diploma is a Lower Academic Progression and that's a red flag on your study visa application, you have to go for something higher that's why a PG. Cert is the best shot for you.

You can go for PG.Cert BUSINESS MANAGEMENT if it's the business line that interests you

Congratulations on your admission
Concerning your tuition, it is advisable to pay for first term so as to strengthen your study permit application.

I studied Banking and Finance
Graduated 2019/2020
Yes am currently working as a product designer for 2years now
No Is not related am into tech right now

Sorry for not replying earlier loads of stuff going on
Based on your not long Study Gap and your work experience, you have two choices here

Either you go for something related to your degree
E.g PG. Cert in Financial Planning, Marketing, Accounting , Finance, Business Management etc. at a college

or

you go for something related to your work experience e.g
PG. Cert in User Experience (UX) design, Digital Product Design at a college

we're almost in a similar situation too, i started online classes last year september, skipped this winter semester cos we were told they're no more accepting online that it has to be in person classes, next resumption is on may 9th now, just few more days, ive also notified IRCC of my situation but nothing so far, its like they don't feel any sense of urgency when attending to applicants from Nigeria.
Johnchan2:
I applied in May last year(2021) too .....
and still no decision from IRCC...
I don't know if I should say that my case is worse cus I started my studies online in January last year...
I have dropped some in-person courses so far and missed an in-person exam.....
I have informed IRCC of my plight yet nothing from them .....
At this point, I just hand it over to God to do His will for me honestly......

Congratulations dear... Pls Can I have a review on how you put up with your SOP please, I mean the reason you wrote on why is your uncle that's sponsoring you which is a third party.
Belle110:
Hey guys, it’s PPR time, I woke up to it by 7:00am today and I was told to check for an update on my application, lol, I kept breathing hard to the part that says my final application has been approved. Then I started shouting.
Funny enough, the first gcms note I’ll ever order is meant to come in by Saturday this week.

Docs submitted at first when I submitted my application:

LOA
Uncle letter of financial support
His UK bank documents 4 months
Passport photograph
International passport data page
My bank statements 4 months
IMM FORMS

Another document sent later and added on through Abuja on 1st of March
- Mpower loan document

Other documents sent letter and added by Abuja on 28th of March
- Employment letter
- IMM 5257b_1
- Letter of explanation

Because I never submitted optional documents, and as the name implies, it was optional, until I saw a post here that says it doesn’t hurt to submit them, I rushed to submit them because it can push your application further.

I needed to add new financial information to the IMM1294 form and correct would accompany you tick boxes on the IMM5646 form. These were updated IMM documents and I wanted it added to my application.

The MP requested for an update on my application from Ircc on the 9th of April and helped to pass the documents across plus proof of enrolment of courses for May.

I submitted documents again through Abuja and it was added on 3rd of May, like 2-3 days ago.
- my uncles British passport/ a citizen
- Another letter of explanation explaining funds/money/sponsorship
- Some chats we had, screenshots
- School transcripts and degree certificate
- Nysc certificate
- My CV
- His business card, he owns and Co runs his law firm in the uk
- My birth certificate

Application timeline:
- submitted January 15
- Biometrics added in January 18
- Upfront medicals and updated to pass on February 22, 2022
- Eligibility review started on ending of march or 1st of April thereabout
- On 9th of April, MP confirmed to me that Ircc told the office that Medicals and criminality has passed and eligibility is still in review.

I really appreciate the information I got on the platform, it made me wiser and strategical.

I didn’t submit a lot of docs cause I believe it’s not by submitting a lot, but the genuinity of each doc and the proof it serves.

Special shout out to Teemenzo, Nina, bucky for always answering my questions!!! I can’t wait for your pprs……… guysssss… can’t wait!

Greetings house,
Please I'm about to apply for a study permit, it's a 2 years program.

For POF, I received funding of 25k/year. My tuition is 16k+living expenses+2k miscellaneous=28k. My father sent me 3mil or 9k cad. From this, I have paid tuition deposit of 5kcad and gotten receipt. What I plan to submit as proof of funds now is
1.Funding letter and supervisor support letter
2. My personal MBS
3. Letter of support from dad
4. Gift deed from dad
5. Dad ID
6. Gift deed for land from dad and land documents
7. Tuition deposit receipt.

For hometies, I used my parents and siblings and professional license. I am attaching their passports and our family pictures.
Please is there anything you feel would help strengthen my application and pof. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@technix @makano @lekiboboe @frankrobbn and anyone else who can say anything please

With all you have said, finance is already covered.

You just need to work on your SOP(purpose of visit-Why you want to study the intended course).. Hometies is okay but not sure abut the professional license.

Yea my uncle is not a sponsor per se, he’ll ‘financially support’ plus I also mentioned myself as a self sponsor providing my bank docs that I can also support myself. Mpower served as the heavy lifter for money.

Who needs money?

Do you know that you can live in Nigeria and sell the dress below for $80 instead of N8,000?

Ask us how.

How would you love to list your products to a ready audience on an international platform with a warm audience of 2 million people? This is better than random ads.

Good day everyone.

My sister got admission to Sault College in Toronto campus, but due to her first visa refusal, she had to defer. Unfortunately it's one of those schools where they only correspond with agents. When her agent deferred, he chose Sault Ste Marie campus because there was no space in the Toronto campus for the May 2022 intake. He didn't ask her if that was okay before doing it and he never said a word about it until she got her proof of enrolment letter and timetable a few days ago, and it said a different location for classes. So she would have arrived at the border saying she is going to Toronto but the Immigration officer will be seeing a town 7 hours drive away. Now we have to start looking for accommodation and flight tickets afresh.

On that note, please I would appreciate if anyone currently in Sault. Ste Marie can reach out or if there is a WhatsApp group, to point me to it please.

Thanks!
