Hi,

Just to add to what Lekiboboe has said, why don't you consider a graduate diploma /certificate instead (since you have a quantitative background)?

That shows career progression and makes it easier to convince the VO even if you don't have work experience in data/business analytics.
Also, since your long-term aim is master's, a graduate certificate will help.

Kbrule:
Guys, I'm in a serious deliemma and I need urgent help.
I studied Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development in my undergraduate level.
Now I would like to go for a Masters in Data Analytics or Business Analytics. In Canada. But the problem is that I don't meet the entry requirements for most schools in Canada.
Some schools in the USA offer foundational courses for people who are coming from other fields but I'm yet to see such for a Canadian school.
I'm also processing my express entry so my thinking is that if I should get EE, it will not only reduce my tuition, it will also make my life easier.

Now, my question is, considering my limitations, should I apply for a diploma in Data Analytics with co-op? And then do a apply for a Masters when I'm there.
Is this even possible?
Is it a waste of money??
Please I need advice

Congrats to the 3rd party. May the land of Canada favour him/her. Mine is next in Jesus name.

Third party PPR Announcement
Second time applicant

First application (4 years bachelors degree) in September 2018, rejected in October 2018 due to third-party sponsorship with no evidence of previous support to applicant. Sponsor then was applicants uncle, with different surname.

Second application (2 years bachelors degree) on December 20 through old portal.
Sponsored by brother, a PR in Canada.
Upfront medical passed in January
Eligibility started March 01
2 GCMS notes. 1 in Feb and 1 in April.
Lots of emails
Lots of fasting and prayers for favour.
PPR May 05.
May admission deferred to September

Full documentation coming. We know how to send passport, but have some questions.

1. How and when should the applicant inform IRCC about the deferral?

2. How early can the applicant arrive in Canada? We want not just statement from IRCC website, but real suggestions and experience based on international students that arrived.

Thank you to all those that drop their full documentation and GCMS before December 2021. Thanks to everyone sharing other infos like embassy email. They were very beneficial towards packaging and following up on the application.

Yes. Also, since your Visa is approved, go and read your letter of introduction. It's clearly stated there.

I don’t visit this thread as often as I used to and I can see that certain individuals have turned it to their head office. Will sort this out with time .

I got my TRV last year, although I had withdrawn from my program before it came in.

Recently I secured a new admission for fall 2022/2023 with the same DLI, and I want to update the IRCC. How should I go about it?

Note that my TRV is still valid.

Do I need to explain the reason I withdrew last year?

I believe that writing them to tell them that I want to update them with my new admission offer and letter of acceptance is enough.

I’ll appreciate helpful advice from someone with similar experience.

Many thanks!

Sadly so but you'll not blame them.
People have obviously refused to read or make use of the knowledge gathered here.

Truth is, nobody will spend their time to guide others through visa application process without getting paid for it.

People come here to ask others to "guide them through the process" and reject any referral to the 1st page. They also come here to ask questions on topics that have thoroughly been trashed.

Thanks for the advise.
Do you know long I can stay in Canada after the diploma while seeking for admission to study a Master's degree.
Also, considering that this is a day time program, will I be able to worth before the co-op?

Since you sent to Lagos, this could be almost 10 business days from the day VFS Lagos received it. With VFS Lagos, you just have to be patient. It took 15 business days from the day I sent it for my Passport to return to me.

Baba, you didn't answer my question ooo cheesy .

Help my anxiety.

This is what my tracking information shows.

Does it mean it's going back to Lagos from Abuja or Abuja will return directly using DHL?

When will counterfoil drop? Should it have dropped?

Visa application, tracking ID No

Am using my elder brother SOA. He is my sponsor and he is a business man. He transferred 7m to my account as deed of gift and he has a close account of 9m so we both printed the statement and submitted while he withdrew the money to continue his business.

My question is will the embassy verify if there is still money in my account and that of my elder brother account?

It because the culture of spoonfeeding has become the order of the day on this thread now probably because a lot more people are trying to make a business off this thread.

This wasn't the case many years ago. People will direct you to the first page or even previous parts and move on. If you still persist in asking questions that has been treated thoroughly, they ignore you. I remember asking my own first sets of newbie questions 8 years ago thinking my case is unique, LOL. Nobody answered me. I didn't need anybody to tell me to read. When I started reading I found answers to the questions I asked. I joined the thread January of that year and I didn't submit my application till April because I needed to read and understand.

A large percentage of the questions asked on this thread everyday has been thoroughly treated if only people will read.

Lol. Your Counterfoil should drop latest tomorrow and the LOI too. My Counterfoil and LOI dropped the day after I received the message above.

Also, it's going back to Lagos. Brace up for another 4 days silence.
