Baba River state is not an Igbo state.. period

LOVEALAIGBO:

You just being mischievous or are you really this dumb!? Rivers State is not homogeneously Igbo like Imo is! I’m from Rivers state but would have preferred a homogeneous Igbo enclave like Imo gets to benefit from the resources in Alaigbo than a state which Ndigbo share with Igbo-deniers, backstabbers and m0r0nic individuals that don’t mind cutting their nose just to spite their face!

The injustice done to Ndigbo by ‘one Nigeria’ is unquantifiable! Do you think for even a second that if say the Fulani occupied the area Ndigbo occupy today, that all hydrocarbon rich parts of their territory wouldn’t be under one homogeneous state or region…or at least one in which they are the majority or have control!?

I notice it’s the very same bigots that despise Ndigbo, Mazi Kanu, IPOB, and anything secession, that are the very same peeps happy with this judgment!

All well and good !
Rivers state and its people still remain our good neighbour.
Still, the judgement does not take away the fact that Imo state is a Niger Deltan state with enough oil wells.
The question I would ask the governor of my state,Hope Uzodinma, is how well have he developed Imo state with the proceeds of the oil wells already situated in Imo state?
How much employment have been created for Imo youths?
How well are the infrastructures' development in Imo state going?
Hope Uzodinma, there is more work to be done.

So the other judgement that gave anambra legitimate ownership of the oilwells against kogi was what?

Oh i forgot anambra isnt igbo State.
No vex was mistaking anambra for ANAMBRA...

Could you cite the judgment in question….links to news reports of the ruling!?

Last i heard, there has been no judgment given on the disputed wells in question and this is why Anambra and Kogi were told they would both share derivation from the disputed ones on a 50-50 basis, while Anambra was given full control of the undisputed ones!

Of course Anambra owns them all, but like we’ve come to expect in this country…anything that favours Ndigbo will either be refused, delayed or watered -down as much as possible!

THIS DISPUTE STARTED SINCE GEJ ADMIN DESIGNATED ANAMBRA AS OIL PRODUCING, BUT DUE TO ENVY AND HATE, SOME FOUND A WAY TO CONVINCE KOGI TO DISPUTE OWNERSHIP OF THE WELLS WITH ANAMBRA SO THEY DON’T ENJOY WHAT GOD, IN HIS INFINITE WISDOM, DECIDED TO BLESS THEM WITH!

If my assertion on the dispute still not being resolved (no thanks to the federally-controlled national boundary commission sitting on the issue for more than up to a decade) is true, ask yourself why this dispute has become so protracted and lasted this long? Could it be they actually know the disputed wells belong to Anambra, but they’re just stalling and trying to drag out the dispute for as long as they possibly can!?

This is the glaring fact these bigots choose to ignore! How fair is it that a 100% Igbo territory is cut in two, with the part more rich in hydrocarbons placed in a ethnically heterogeneous state for non-Igbo and Igbo deniers to manage!?

I know most of the people happy with this judgment (besides the non-Igbo in Rivers state) are the Fulani and Yoruba! Now my question to them is…would they tolerate this if a hegemonic and vindictive Igbo-controlled central gov’t took a hydrocarbon rich Fulani or Yoruba land….divided kinsfolk in two (a la Egbema), and then proceeded to place the hydrocarbon rich part of the same village in another state/region to be administered in trust for said Igbo hegemony by Fulani/Yoruba haters and deniers!? The answer to this rhetorical question is either a YES or a NO….no ifs or buts!

It is really a grave injustice and the pains Ndiigbo must bear for losing a brutal war.
We must never forgive or forget those who all connived to deliver this injustice on us.

Not necessarily. SPDC is mainly moving offshore. Land fields are no longer profitable to them mainly because of community wahala and insecurity.

It's on record that Nigerian onshore wells will dry out by 2040.

Or why do you think the federal government is eyeing SE gas reserves?

Gas is gradually becoming more important as a cleaner source of energy. The advent of electric cars and electric marchines are reducing the need for other energy sources like gasoline and diesel. We've been hearing that crude will dry up even before we were both born into this world. But believe me this is only estimation and wishful belief. More oil wells will be discovered worldwide as the years go by. Crude will only become worthless due to the growing need for other sources of energy.

The SE has more gas than crude does not mean the SE has more gas than the SS.
