It's really sad.
People don't want to make effort. Even those who have all the time in the world to actually do some reading.

That's why agents charge them as high as 500k to secure school admission cheesy then go ahead to use fake documents for their Visa applications.

I once gave someone an ebook to guide him/her on how to apply to schools, they came back to say they didn't understand it and I should help them with list if schools. I blocked the person on WhatsApp oo.

It because the culture of spoonfeeding has become the order of the day on this thread now probably because a lot more people are trying to make a business off this thread.

This wasn't the case many years ago. People will direct you to the first page or even previous parts and move on. If you still persist in asking questions that has been treated thoroughly, they ignore you. I remember asking my own first sets of newbie questions 8 years ago thinking my case is unique, LOL. Nobody answered me. I didn't need anybody to tell me to read. When I started reading I found answers to the questions I asked. I joined the thread January of that year and I didn't submit my application till April because I needed to read and understand.

A large percentage of the questions asked on this thread everyday has been thoroughly treated if only people will read.

Sadly most of these agents do not know or have the information shared here.

An applicant i applied for gcms notes, the notes dropped, i interpreted it and told her what she needs to do as it was delaying the application and how to send it

She was surprised and said her agent told her she cant send additional documents after visa is submitted. I laughed

I gave her the link to webform and told her you can do this yourself but she gave the link to the agent only for the agent to tell her that he does not understand the site.

Another reached out to me and after her notes dropped.

Apparently, the agent was the one that filled her IMMM forms, provided documents. The lady only gave the agent her waec. shocked

Imagine an agent wrote on the form that a lady that manages a supermarket is a supermarket attendant.

The visa officer had a lot to complain about.

i just referred to here cos me don tire.

Hello Everyone, I'm in need to assistance for payment of tuition Deposit to Fanshawe College. Their method of payment is through flywire, and the rate shown on flywire is really on the high side, whereas CBN rate would be more affordable for me. I've seen comments about form A, I would like to know if there is a way I can use form A to send this money or any other more affordable means I can make the Tuition deposit.
Thank you.

Am using my elder brother SOA. He is my sponsor and he is a business man. He transferred 7m to my account as deed of gift and he has a close account of 9m so we both printed the statement and submitted while he withdrew the money to continue his business.

My question is will the embassy verify if there is still money in my account and that of my elder brother account?

The answer to this question was given by me and another just two days ago.

The embassy will not inquire from the bank the balance of the account outside the period on the submitted bank statement.

The embassy focuses on the period on the bank statement and not outside of it.

A common response that people use to give then is "If you want to come to Canada, you must learn how to do research by yourself". These days you will find people asking " google-able" questions.

Hahaha cheesy cheesy
Still boils down to same thing. People refuse to read. Why would anyone give agent only WAEC certificate to process a study visa!!

While I understand that most so called visa agents in Nigeria are agents of destruction (they can destroy people's travel plans with their anyhowness), their customers also have a lot of blame to share. Some support the lies initial until a refusal comes and they begin to say something else.

People need to start asking the so-called agents questions. Review documents before final submission. That's what professional and licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) do..

Even so called gurus here mess up people's application but nobody would bring it here because of shame.

Me I read and mostly look away.
The questions I find annoying is : "which cheap school can I apply to in Canada?"

Do we know your definition of cheap?
Do we know how much you are willing to part with?
Do we know what course you intend to study?

Hahhhhh!

Third party PPR Announcement
Second time applicant

First application (4 years bachelors degree) in September 2018, rejected in October 2018 due to third-party sponsorship with no evidence of previous support to applicant. Sponsor then was applicants uncle, with different surname.

Second application (2 years bachelors degree) on December 20 through old portal.
Sponsored by brother, a PR in Canada.
Upfront medical passed in January
Eligibility started March 01
2 GCMS notes. 1 in Feb and 1 in April.
Lots of emails
Lots of fasting and prayers for favour.
PPR May 05.
May admission deferred to September

Full documentation coming. We know how to send passport, but have some questions.

1. How and when should the applicant inform IRCC about the deferral?

2. How early can the applicant arrive in Canada? We want not just statement from IRCC website, but real suggestions and experience based on international students that arrived.

Thank you to all those that drop their full documentation and GCMS before December 2021. Thanks to everyone sharing other infos like embassy email. They were very beneficial towards packaging and following up on the application.

Hi,

Just to add to what Lekiboboe has said, why don't you consider a graduate diploma /certificate instead (since you have a quantitative background)?

That shows career progression and makes it easier to convince the VO even if you don't have work experience in data/business analytics.
Also, since your long-term aim is master's, a graduate certificate will help.

Yh another angle

OK.
Thank you

Just like technix said

PG. Cert in Data/Business Analytics will be a good progression for you, owing to the fact that you might have done some Agriculture Economics courses with quantitative components that has to do with Data Analysis.

To further solidify your profile,
do some Online Courses on Business/Data Analytics (free or paid) get the certificate and add it to your resume, then apply for a PG. Cert in Data Analytics/Business Analytics program at a Canadian College for 2023 intake (whether Winter, Spring or Fall)

Please, someone (experienced guru) please would you advise me what to do on the following case:

I used agent to submit my visitor application. I want to apply study visa myself, I asked agent to send me the IRCC forms for visitor application. Then, I discovered the following:
1. Section where IRCC ask previous travel, agent ticked NO, whereas, I have traveled 4 countries oo
2. Year of starting and completing my degree were wrong.

I want to submit study application now, and in the IRCC form, there is a section of previous travel since age of 18. Should I tick YES? or NO?

Is it fine if I fill all information correctly in study visa application and write letter of explanation to explain these errors? Wouldn't this affect my application?

Other questions: my company reduced my salary, already told VO my initial salary, should I ask the company to write letter and address it to VO and explain the salary reduction? Would VO not think I want to japa because of my company financial situation?

Please, experienced guru, clear this smoke for me.

God bless you richly.

For someone who has traveled in the past and to 4 countries... please what then is rock science about running your application yourself? At least know your login details so you can access every info yourself. Wait for the gurus... i no be guru

You can put your bank statement, tax records, pay slip and every other document that has to do with finance under funds.
Anything that has to do with your identity like your international passport , national id card , drivers license , expired and unexpired visas and also stamps in the pages of your passport should go under Travelling document.
Letter of explanation is an optional document so it should go under optional. I hope this helps.
Lastly you will have to compress the documents because in the new portal you can't upload documents larger than 2mb.

Nobody dey spoonfeed then. The funny part is that people read and still tender documents submitted after approval. Ghost readers and "how can I send my passport? With no documents submitted" is the new approach. Some OGs Don notice am turn their knowledge to business. I no blame anyone. I came back to refresh my knowledge and had to seriously read again from August to December 2021 before advising my latest applicant. I got to know that LOE/SOP and funds style Don change Gan. It is well.

Hi Guys, I am trying to book a date for my biometrics. The capturing is only done in Abuja and Lagos, but I reside in P.h. I have not been notified to do medicals yet, can I do upfront medicals when I come for my biometrics?( If yes, how do I go about this) This way, I wont have to travel down to Lagos or Abuja again for medicals. Are there approved hospitals for medicals in P.h?
