I was busy, was busy with my father's and mother burial, mother died before, now father died, so we were doing both burial together, I was not in good state, so decided to let agent did the process for me. When am stable, collected login details, access documents he submitted and asking questions, that was when I noticed his errors. Been in 4 countries is nothing, we learn every day and immigration process changes every time. Even if you are there, you will continue to learn and ask questions because no one is the owner of oyinbo rules. Now, I am doing my study application by myself. CharitoJames: 1 Like |

Things don change gan. When I came back to this thread, I had to read and understand the whole process again. I had to read Frankrobin's post from 2018 to understand how to arrange the documents and the sections to upload them. The Language sef don change. Back then we use to say " chop TRV" instead of PPR because you have to carry your Passport by yourself to CDHC for stamping but now you send it by courier. OG or newbie, you have to read and update yourself. Things change fast. Osemigho: 1 Like |

Good day everyone, I finally got my acceptance letter from centennial college after making a deposit of 2650 dollars. But in the acceptance letter it states I should pay the remaining fees of 6680 dollars before June 25th. The program is starting by September. But as I dey like this, I no fit afford that kind money in just dat shikini period of time. I'm thinking of deferring to January. My question now is that, will me deferring my admission to January increase the due date of payment. Please I need any amount of inputs I can get. |

freshdude: Book your medicals with IOM before you book your Biometrics so you can plan the trip together. The date you will get for your medicals will help you determine the date you will book for your Biometrics. Book medicals here: https://mymedical.iom.int/apps/omas/#_frmHome. You will most likely not get a favourable date for the medicals. So you will then email them here: iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int with your preferred date. They will respond within 3 business days. Approved hospitals are only in Lagos and Abuja. 1 Like 1 Share |

Iamgrac: I believe if you defer, the new LOA will contain the new conditions. So you should see the new due date. But if you are curious to know when the new due date will be before you defer, then you should mail them and ask them. 1 Like |

Man you don't really need this.. believe me, you could've just take ya eyes off his question instead of over reacting... Frfr, do ya best to answer the question and if you can't then you can fold ya hands and look... I've been reading what ppl been saying since afternoon here but I will say this, Most of the answers that ppl are seeking might have been answered already in the previous posts but if it touches ya heart to render the help then why not do it for the sake of Christ nor for the sake of human or then let it slide without a word or attitude from you Okay take a very look at Jesus Christ, he had disciples, I know he thought them lot of things so they can stand and do things when he'll no longer be with them but when he was no longer with them, none of them still do things on their own without the help of the holy spirit.... We all know that we can definitely solve our problem by reading scripture and by praying, then why do we still seek for God's help to open our eyes to see and our wisdom to understand the mystery in it and also to teach us how to pray.... Notwithstanding, I will say whatever you can render to help a partner do it without rephrasing back to how hard you pull it before you have it and if you can't help then I will say you should let it slide than giving attitude Peace rahmeekadigz: 16 Likes |

Osemigho: As promised: Program: SAIT 2-year direct-entry bachelor’s of technology degree, 1-year coursework and about 6 months of internship. Financial documents uploaded in the financial support section: 1. Part tuition payment receipt of about $10,000 paid by the sponsor (applicant’s brother). Total program tuition is about $26,000 and 1/3 of the sponsor's annual gross income. The visa officer did not acknowledge the part payment in the first GCMS. Applicant resent as email, and it was acknowledged in the second GCMS. Advise, resend your full or part tuition payment receipt some weeks after submission to be sure they receive and acknowledge it in the application. 2. Letter of sponsorship from the sponsor explaining: a. The moral, financial, and economic reasons for sponsoring the applicant b. Sponsor pledge of about $47,000 to applicant education in Canada. c. How the sponsor plans to raise the pledged fund through his savings and income. d. Sponsor family situation. Married with no kids. The sponsor only mentioned this and his wife's yearly income (did not include his wife's document to prevent document overload). e. Sponsor yearly expenses (including accommodation and feeding). f. Other supporting documents. Note: Sponsors have been supporting applicant since 2018 by sending money directly to the applicant's bank account for his education and professional development in Nigeria. 3. Affidavit of sponsorship from the sponsor, written by the sponsor and stamped at a Canadian registry. This briefly mentioned the sponsor's pledge and sources of the sponsor's income. 4. Applicant’s two years mybankStatement. To show past support and two million nairas deposit from the sponsor about 2 months to submission. The deposit was to cover applicant visa application fees and first-semester allowance. The opening balance was about 900,000 nairas, the closing balance was about 2.5m nairas, and the 2-year turnover was about 9 million nairas. 5. Sponsor’s Canada savings and salary account for about 4 months, C$30,000 closing balance and about C$14,000 opening balance. 6. Sponsor’s one-month Tax-Free Savings account statement with about C$13,000 closing balance, an opening balance was about 14,000. 7. Sponsor’s letter of introduction from employer (mention start date, position and yearly income) and four-month payslips. 8. Sponsor’s contract with another company in Canada (It did not state income from this employment). 9. Sponsor’s land property document in Nigeria. 10. Sponsor’s ID documents (Nigeria International Passport Biodata Page and Canada Permanent Resident Card). 11. Sponsor and applicant birth certificates showing they have the same parents. 12. Some pictures of applicant and sponsor together, and with others. Other documents uploaded in the client information section: 1. Applicant's 5-page Letter of Explanation, structured with sub-headings, and explaining: a. The reasons for choosing the program b. Academic, language, and Professional Experience and how they are relevant to the proposed program. c. Funding situation: Funding amount and source, connection to sponsor and evidence of previous support from the sponsor. d. Vision and plans after study in Canada and return to Nigeria. 2. Applicant's Education and Language documents: a. Technical Education NCE statement of result, completed December 2018 after the first rejection. b. Applicant's Senior Secondary School Certificate. c. Applicant's Senor School Leaving Testimonial. d. Applicant’s Junior Secondary School Certificate. e. Applicant’s Certificate of French Studies from an Institute in the Benin Republic, 2021. f. Applicant's Diploma in French Language Proficiency from the University of Lagos, 2021. g. Applicant's DELF Exams Result. 3. Applicant's Identity Documents (Personal and School, Work, and Tax ID cards). 4. Applicant's Letter of Reference from Workplace. The company is owned by the applicant's father and the applicant had been working there since 2018. The letter was written and signed by the applicant’s supervisor to prevent conflict of interest. 5. Applicant's Police character certificate. 6. Applicant's dad's business registration document. 7. Applicant's dad's assets documents (land and personal vehicles). 8. Applicant's extra family pictures. The applicant sent other siblings' birth certificates and parents' international passports in an email to address the issue of PR brother noted in the first GCMS note. Applicant resent Applicant's new 2-year MBS with an online bank statement (GTB Statement by email) to address the issue with accessing MBS raised by the visa officer in the first GCMS. This was about 3 months after submission and the balance had reduced to about 1.7m nairas. The issue was removed in the second GCMS note received about 1.5 months after the first. It took about 2-3 months to fully write the 5-page letter of explanation as I learn and share the information I read here with the applicant. I would never have dreamt of a 5-page LOE/SOP during my student application in 2017, but coming back to this thread made me realize how harder it has become to get a student visa without a detailed explanation of almost everything. The applicant had a lot of explanations to relate his proposed education to everything from past education to current experience and future plans. We added lots of fasting and prayers for a favour because no application is perfect and this one was definitely not. We hope someone finds this useful. Thank you. 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Hi Guys I'm a first time traveler as I will be traveling to Canada soon for my studies... please I have some questions to ask. 1. I booked a one way ticket already and I'm being told that if my ticket is not a round trip ticket that I won't be allowed to board the flight and that Canadian immigration would deny my entry into the country. Please help on this. 2. Also, how can I get an apartment in Vancouver? I don't mind if it's a shared apartment. Thank You |
