Is it okay to do your medicals after submitting your application without a medical request from IRCC? if it is acceptable, do I update via the webform?

From what I've seen on this thread, I think it's important to let the school know once you have initiated payment even before it's completed or you're debited as they are normally aware Nigerian transfers take more time than others. If you have already initiated payment, maybe you can send the proof to the school and see what happens

Thanks. I'll do just that.

BenedictStinson:

Thank you I have the payment instructions though it's a personal account so I don't think the letter of authorization is necessary

The letter of authorization should be in the payment instruction you got from Flywire. That's how my own was. Fanshawe College. And for the reference number, you'll put that when filling Form A. Here's how I filled mine.

Hmmm I have been avoiding the late talk which are faults of agents for applicants as it hurts. There's no room to rush for but yet carelessness takes the day(SAD). if the visitors form is yet to be submitted I'll say you get on the correction noted on your travel history and stating and ending your degree. However if you r yet to set out on your travel visa I'll advise u don't apply for the student visa yet till after ur travel application but if you had already completed ur travel visa period n wants to embark on the study route, I'll advise you seek out for an edit on your application.
1- YES tick the yes option(from your 4 travels)
2- YES ALSO FILL ALL CORRECT/ TRUTH IN THE FORMS FOR STUDY ROUTE WHICH YOU AIM TO EMBARK ON.
3- I don't think it's necessary ur company writes VO on your salary stuff. if indeed you have sufficient funds or a sponsor.
No doubt your study route will not be an easy one(I don't wanna scare you) but you just have to take any single opportunity you got and THE TRUTH THROUGH OUT THE STUDY APPLICATION TO ME IS THE BEST SHOT.

Any further thing that needs clarity(should the VO asked) can be answered (in a well confident manner) upon request during interview. Finally avoid going into quarrel with your agent and rather channel such strength on your study route as it's a long way ahead.
KEEP YOUR APPLICATION GOING WITH FINGERS CROSSED

Lezy:

Please, someone (experienced guru) please would you advise me what to do on the following case:

I used agent to submit my visitor application. I want to apply study visa myself, I asked agent to send me the IRCC forms for visitor application. Then, I discovered the following:
1. Section where IRCC ask previous travel, agent ticked NO, whereas, I have traveled 4 countries oo
2. Year of starting and completing my degree were wrong.
I want to submit study application now, and in the IRCC form, there is a section of previous travel since age of 18. Should I tick YES? or NO?

Is it fine if I fill all information correctly in study visa application and write letter of explanation to explain these errors? Wouldn't this affect my application?

Other questions: my company reduced my salary, already told VO my initial salary, should I ask the company to write letter and address it to VO and explain the salary reduction? Would VO not think I want to japa because of my company financial situation?

Please, experienced guru, clear this smoke for me.

God bless you richly.

No. You have to submit a fresh application since you're changing school.

Hello everyone.
Please I need advice on what to do here. My sponsor’s salary account has no money in it because he removes the money any time they pay, for investment in share.(He don’t want to use it to show POF) but can we still use that salary account with the zero balance , his normal current account, land documents and school fees payment to show proof of funds.

Thank you

Even on your personal account, you have to authorize them to debit you in a letter.

There's no specific format. Your letter should include:

Account details to debit
Account details to credit.

Special instructions you want them to put as narration (example the reference number by flywire. If you were paying directly into the school's account, it'll have been your student number).

Wishing you the best speed and favourable decision in your application.

BenedictStinson:

Lolz I think I saw somewhere that it's only needed if it's a third party account but you are right you can never be too careful with this banks.
Do I just type out a letter and sign or is there a specific format for this authorization to debit

I think pictures from when you wear young, with your family and maybe social media posts would help. You can also add messages between both of you.

Hello @Ketima

As someone who has criminal record in the UK around 2012/2013 and also denied US visa 2 twice (was going for a conference) in 2015 and can't remember the reason VO gave for that, I think the VO just said not qualified at the time or so. Now my wife is about to apply for her student visa for September 2022 intake and I'm joining for SOWP, what chances do we have and how do I declare this, I read someone wrote he was in the same predicament as mine, 10 years bank and 5 year jail time but still got PPR and even mentioned you as helping them. Can you advice please? I'm having sleepless nights.

Hello Zmande,

Sometime ago, I had someone who had criminal record in another country but applied to Canada for study and was approved.

Now, kindly send the criminal record via mail as I wouldn't want you to share your case in a public forum. Also you have to furnish us with the reason for your US visa refusal. We don't work on assumptions and speculations. That will guide me in giving you a concrete answer.

But then, as it your spouse who is going for the studies, after experiencing what spouses go through in getting their SOWP after their spouses have landed in Canada, I now encourage people to put their application together provided they can provide concrete and convincing application to show that they have enough home ties and economic ties to Nigeria that will make them to return back. But as your case is, I would advice your wife to apply alone, while you apply later for SOWP when she must have settled in Canada.

That's my little intake Zmande.
It is just a temporary delay and not a denial.
All the best.

Based on your not long Study Gap and your work experience, you have two choices here

Either you go for something related to your degree
E.g PG. Cert in Financial Planning, Marketing, Accounting , Finance, Business Management etc. at a college

or

you go for something related to your work experience e.g
PG. Cert in User Experience (UX) design, Digital Product Design at a college
Thanks am really keen on studying in Canada my elder brother who wants to sponsor me said I should make research on it, but my only worries is not getting visa this year

You can't use the LOA from a DLI different from the one submitted in your initial application. Since you've been approved kindly reapply to the same DLI you used for your visa. Obtain a new LOA and travel. If you want to change schools you can do that from inside Canada...

Goodluck. God bless

You're not banned my friend.
When you revoke your GCKey, you will not be able to use it for any Government of Canada service.

Your GCKey can't be recovered. To gain access to your account again, you would have to submit a new portal enrolment application. You should indicate that you've previously had an account.

Goodluck. God bless

If one obtains a new LOA from the DLI that they used to get TRV, won’t they need to update the IRCC before traveling?

If so, is there a proper way of doing it? I recently updated them with my new LOA and wrote them a short message about the situation via the web form. Should that be OK, or is there more I need to do?

I got my gcms notes which i ordered over a month ago via link here, fortunately i already have ppr before it came so i was just reading through out of curiosity, i submitted a mybankstatement of about 20m, in the financial info section it was written that my tuition is CAD28k and that i money available for my studies is CAD50k. also noted that they were unable to access mybankstatement due to internet outage. i also saw all the docs i sent via web form.
Settling has been challenging giving the fact that my classes started immediately, i already have like over 1000 words worth of assignment to finish this weekend and plagiarism is a serious crime over here.
If you are the type that consider reading and doing your own research a waste of time, please just die that Masters and Phd dreams. everything here you must read very well and understand before you sign then school work can not be copied, so if you can not put together your own visa application for study please start learning now.
