A preparation in advance do helps serve out stress and worries. Some person's will be leaving for fall august and you're yet to fix their passport in order?
Please do well to get across the officer that has been assisting you for updates and also try and be going to that office early. I hope you get to meet with this urgent situation of yours ma'am

I captured april 6th but NIN verification made it impossible for my capturing to be submitted not until 2weeks later according to the officer helping me..

Please I want to apply for a fresh passport for myself and kids. We are based in Lagos. Please which of the Lagos centres can get the passport done within 6 weeks please. I wouldn't be going through the DIY process.
Your responses are highly appreciated. I don't mind travelling outside Lagos if we can get it done within the 6 weeks.

For DIY, getting appointment for capturing for now will take more than 6 weeks in some Lagos centers. There's no more appointment space for May. June is full already for some centers. You can work with minimum of 8 weeks for DIY if you're considering Lagos centers.

Your 6 weeks plan is possible with agent or you work in to any centre and ready to pay double of the regular fees. All the best.

passport is ready for pick up you say, what again with upgrade? Pls all Nigerian passports issued by immigration service are accepted worldwide. Go and pick up

Am taking abt the new E- passport that is only issued in Abuja and lagos I heard.

Carry all docs with you. It depend on the official. Some request for it during booking but in most cases during capturing ma'am.
In all do well to be with your docs to avoid unawares request.

i did mine this year and it was a fixed ammount, find attached the image(also includes the address) also know ur local govt, autonomous community and village, its very inportant or u will be sent away. also there is no queue sha.

If you captured at Aluasa Ikeja then you should see the collection date on your slip. You may add few days or weeks to it before you go if your place.

Even those who pay Hugh amount in most cases are still disappointed how much DIY - If you're not in a hurry say between 2- 4 months to spare then go DIY otherwise go the other way.

Make friend with any immigration personnel there and tell him to feed you info on it- Don't forget to show appreciation.
