Sincerely, Nigerians are madder than most. We have gotten so used to doing stuff that could land us in jail in other climes that we see doing good as wrong and stupid and see doing bad as right and justified.

Here's a guy -GloriousGbola- trying to restore sanity on this thread and ensure that sellers sell things at clearance prices and don't engage in false advertising and some people here are abusing him and ganging up on him for sticking his head up and daring to do what is good. We Nigerians want good things, but doing good and being good is clearly not something we are prepared to do. And then we will go on Twitter to wail about how bad the country is becoming.

Our thinking and moral outlook is so madly twisted and that despite the fact that we are one of the most religious people in the world. Like why do we love preying on each other so much and get so mad when other people stop us from doing that? We really can be very terrible people.

I tiled the entire living area + kitchen, tiled a section of the kitchen walls, built a new kitchen cabinet with HDF wood, retiled the bathroom walls etc... I did all these things primarily for my own comfort and secondly because I want to vacate the flat in a better state than I met it. In summary I sought to add value! So no be by afterall you dey pay rent. I dey Lagos for instance and renting accommodation here is insanely competitive. No be only me get money to pay rent so why should a landlord pick me out of others to give his apartment to? All the improvements I made did not reduce me, neither will it reduce me when I vacate the apartment and hand it over to the landlord. If anything I have enjoyed growth while living here.

So I will never for the life of me understand why tenants who aspire to become landlords one day will damage a house in the name of I did this and did that so let me strip it. Half the time those things they remove end up being completely unusable elsewere. Will you want a tenant to treat your property like that 30 years after your retirement when your bones are weary and old and that property is your source of sustenance? Or is it that you think you are in competition with your landlord? If you want to compete with your landlord, go and buy land, build and invite him for the housewarming. That is how to compete with your landlord no be to spoil house. Na poor man dey tink like that

The last time my landlord came for a routine inspection after praying for me he said when I am ready to vacate his house I should go and look for a tenant like myself first before I handover his keys to him. This is the same man who barely 2 years ago was saying I should pay a kings ransom for his house or forget it

Oga, no one is criticizing him for calling out outrageous price, we’ve all been doing that from the inception of this thread, it’s nothing new.
I understand he’s here to restore sanity, but there’s a way to do that.
I have actually been following him and also like what he has been doing, but there are times he not 100% correct, like the SSD and now this Ninja jug.
Calling out sellers for selling fake items whereas it’s actually authentic. You’ve never sold on here to think about the harm that can do to a seller.
If the jug seller wasn’t sharp enough to counter his claims, I’m sure she won’t sell any unit on here.
Even the person that bought the jug came to clear the air.
There’s a way they do things
What is worth doing is worth doing well.
You can’t just go about labeling all sellers scam or unauthentic.
Bringing Nigeria into the equation, don’t you remember SARS that was brought to return sanity, they did well for a few and then started going after innocent youths when they had too much power.
And then they were scraped in the end.
That’s same thing happening.
Yes, trying to swindle a buyer is bad but trying to defame or spoil the reputation of a seller is also bad as well. Major reason he’s on ban for now.
If you’re coming at a seller do your research well, and come with straight facts, instead of a hunch.
FutureF is still paying the price for not handling the situation well at that time.
I know buyers on here are more than sellers so buyers always win, but at times try and put yourself in the sellers shoe sometimes.

I was discussing with her on WhatsApp when she stopped responding and went underground just for her to come and mislead people on here two days later in attempt to cajole me , I just came on NL while on my way to work , only for me to see a misguided Nairalander ordering me to pay a troublesome buyer , the mistake I made was not countering them immediately! However no regret , the matter will remain very hot in my cooler until they remove the details that labeled me as a scammer on this forum,and if I don’t have money and patience to follow the legal procedures at the high court, I will just turn the table , ain’t the only with tag able details, beside what is good for goose is also good for the gander.
I still insist customers who have patronized me know me as a nice person, and I will do my best to keep maintain that.

Buyers said tab had a faulty charging port, you did not give her solutions, like to try a different charger, or to meet up with a different charger to try it.
You just switched blindly, then she said the new one can’t do YouTube, you didn’t now show her how to or tell her how to, I doubt there’s an android OS that can’t stream YouTube.
She was then expecting you to swap it out for a better tab, but the better tab cost more which made you unable to do the swap I guess, and then she brought it online .
And the whole conclusion was that she was then given that first tab, which she claimed to have charging issues, which is what she’s currently using and enjoying now.
I think (my opinion) that case was a case of “buyers remorse” she got the tab, didn’t like it, wanted something better, brought up charging issues, you then gave her a similar tab, she came up with another excuse thinking you’ll swap it out like last time, when you refused she then brought it online for blackmail.
If you had done a check on the first tab, all these wouldn’t have happened in the first place.
About the scammer tag, you can keep mailing the mods with your case, with hopes to bring it down.
