The OP clearly says that the school was being used as a shelter/refuge by civilians to escape the constant bombing in the hope that Russians wouldn’t shell a school.

The OP also says that immediate rescue was impossible due to the non-stop shelling and that the extreme temperatures from the explosion would have left no survivors.

Their Navy will be destroyed quicker than you think and they'll have to rely on very long range missiles in targeting US soil with poor chances of success.

They can more easily hit targets in Europe rather than US, except Alaska.

That doesn't mean they can't make some hits but one thing they will likely never try is to use nuclear warheads.
