Our leaders have no shame left in them; morally Emeifile has no right to remain as the governor of the apex bank while aspiring to be elected into the highest electoral office in the land. 19 Likes 2 Shares |

Emefiele as a civil servant cannot and should not think of contesting an election whilst still in office. The CBN governor contesting is like INEC chairman running for a political post because he is a critical stakeholder in the country’s election. His greediness wouldn’t allow him think straight. I don’t know who advises these guys. How can he even conceive such in the first place? They’re just running the country like a banana republic. These people no rate us at all 28 Likes 1 Share |

Are all these people actually trying to win or are they stylishly raising money for APC to use during campaigns? All the coalitions, Groups, friends, etc raising these N100M for these aspirants will make it difficult for EFCC to investigate the aspirants. Nigerians always have a way of escaping the law. 5 Likes |

Emiefiele has successfully destroyed his career before starting. Who is going to trust a CBN gov who went behind to join a political party for over a year without the knowledge of the public when most secretive and sensitive electoral materials are in his possession? 23 Likes 1 Share |

Not sure this sole reason is strong enough to bar him from contesting. |

That's true oo, and i recall election items are stored in various CBN state offices before they are transmitted to the polling centres during election periods. It is wrong on so many levels that a CBN governor is a card carrying member of a political party in Nigeria where democracy is yet to fully evolve and our public institutions are weak 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Greed has destroyed Emefiele! He should just go. In fact, the elections since February 2021 could have been compromised since CBN Governor has been a card carrying member of APC since then. And sensitive INEC materials were kept in his custody since then. All politicians who lost elections since February 2021 could now go to court to contest such elections as possibly rigged by Emefiele. 9 Likes |
