If you are genuinely sure that the GTB account is genuine then get a letter from your bank and attach it to the same bank statement you submitted and explain what happened, you can either send it for reconsideration or apply for AR, search for reconsideration email address online and email your documents.

They do verify documents and this is not a guess work

Yes. Generate epayment receipt after paying, print this out and take it to IOM on the day of your test.

they don’t confirm balance, they confirm with bank about the authenticity not about the balance ! If they feel the statement isn’t good enough, they would ask the bank to look if it is authentic. That is not a crime.

there is a very big difference: its like asking the bank if this is their statement. They know whats from them. The bank would do well to cross check the account just to be sure. And let the embassy know the statement is genuine. Sometimes they don’t even have to check the account. They would simply know by merely looking at it.

They somtimes confirm current balance in relation to the statement, dont be deceived
