Hello
Please do you do medicals and submit with your application? If I have a gift deed, do I need to have personal funds in my own bank account for the past 6 months? Asides, SOP what else do you submit under home ties, I have no landed assets?
Thanks

Apologies if this has been answered before:
1. Using Oanda, if i have the full tuition fee seating in my account and the upkeep (10k or 12k CAD i hope) equivalent also in my account, will an extra 10k CAD (2-3m naira equivalent) suffice to make up what i have in my account o apply??
2. Is there a minimum for the money to have sat in my account (eg 30days, 3 months, 6 months) before i apply??. School is sept, no luxury of 6months obviously.
Thank you guys |

Please what is the difference between Gift Deed and Affidavit of sponsor? Also, can you share a template with me if you can? Lastly, since you used the gift deed route, what else did you submit for the person who gave you the gift deed asides the gift deed letter and the person's bank statement? Thanks a lot. Olacherry:
My Testimony
Long post alert!
What God cannot do, does not exist! I’m so elated, my heart is full of joy, I can’t express my emotions, I never knew this day will finally come. God showed up for me after 3 refusals… God’s Mercies, Grace and Favour found me. I am that woman that God showed mercy! I return all glory to God almighty.
My journey started in August 2020, my first application was shabbily packaged as I had little or no idea of the whole process. I got refused in September 2020 over purpose of study and personal assets and financial status.
I went back to the drawing board and sorted some help from friends and applied in December 2021, it came back refused in February for same reasons, I am very certain that the VO didn’t read my LOE, I was really shattered cos I got the refusal on my husband’s birthday in February after I threw a surprise birthday for him.
I applied again in April, this time i ensured all loopholes were tightly sealed. It was 2 months after I submitted that I joined naira land, so I was glad to know that I was not alone in this struggle, and was encouraged each time people testify about PPR, so I was always here to get more information and was hoping for the best, on 31st August I went to take my 2nd dose of vaccine, Gbam! I saw the two love letters, I was excited and scared at the same time, I didn’t open it till I finished at the health center, I got back to the office and opened it, behold! It was another refusal, I couldn’t believe it I was literally without life cos the previous week I knew how much I struggled to get a spot for my medicals cos the previous one already expired so I did it and updated them. It was as if I was dreaming and I didn’t want to wake up to reality, I was shattered as I felt betrayed and abandoned, this time the refusal reason was only on personal assets and financial status. I couldn’t understand why? I requested for GCMS note and when the notes came in November, my pre assessment was all positive, it was 90% certain I was getting the approval but the senior officer said NO, and was concerned about my family composition, if the fund available will be adequate to take of both studies and my unaccompanying children. They didn’t point out that I had paid school fees and that I also submitted my personal bank statement with about 2M and my mutual fund statements 1.7M, My husband is my sponsor and I submitted his savings account and domiciliary account statements of about 20M, his pay slips, business document and property rentals … I really found that reason absurd. my medicals was updated to pass a day after my refusal. This time, my siblings advised me to give up the dream but I was resilient and I persevered.
After mourning my refusal, I applied again on 16th January 2022, I thank God for naira land so I packaged my application with all the information I got here, this time, my husband transferred more funds to my account and supported it with a gift deed, submitted all his accounts and the funds were about 40M, wrote a convincing LOE and SOP. After 6 weeks of my application i started sending emails and web forms and also applied for my GCMS notes, I later contacted the MP in Halifax and they obliged to assist me get updates on my application. The MP got back to me and it was stated that have reviewed my application and will contact me for medicals.
I gave it my all, in all of this, I recognized that only God can help me this time. So I never failed to connect to NSPPD 7am prayers every weekdays, I keyed in to every word of knowledge from PST about visa approvals, I prayed, fasted, visited orphanage home, gave alms, stayed strong and positive and mercy of God found me and God came through for me.
My GCMS note came back and I realized that my eligibility was already passed, medical passed but expired, I quickly forwarded my updated medical sheet to them and my medical was updated a day after that. My BVL came on 7th of April and I didn’t get any other mail after that, I became very anxious and confused, This struggle no dey finish, i was sending 3 emails everyday for 2 weeks, nothing oh, I resumed fasting and prayer, talked to a few people to get some encouragement, then I stopped sending emails, then yesterday I decided to resume the emails and I changed my narration, this time I wasn’t ready to pacify them, then I sent webform this morning and the mail landed by mid day. I guess the webform did the magic! my PPR landed after 32 days!
I’ve come to share my struggle and experience to give glory to God almighty and to encourage each and every PPR hopefuls here. Pls don’t give up and put your trust in God, he never fails! If God can do it for me after several refusals with all the odds against me, he can do it for everyone expecting PPR in Jesus name.
I must appreciate all the gurus and wonderful people here giving information and sharing experiences on this platform, every Information I got that helped my application, I received most of them from here! thank you all and God almighty bless you.

Chinnychappy: Hi Osemigho.. Do profs in Canada utilize a research topic/proposal submitted in the course of applying even before the graduate student joins their team? If yes, does it therefore mean the graduate student will be assigned a new area to research on when he/she eventually joins the team? @Osemigho Hello Chinnychappy, The research topic is tentative and subject to change at the appropriate hour upon the study commencement. It also depends on the professor or the demonstrated academic ability or the developed interest of the student in a particular research area. Best of Luck |

Teezkid: Hey guys. Just wanted to ask. My uncle Is my sponsor, if he transfers the money for the living expenses, he can still stand as my sponsor, or how does this thing really go? Lol. What’s the way really forward ? Hello Teezkid, The sum transferred to you can be considered as a demonstration of his sponsorship commitment. Ensure to explain the lump sum in your study plan. It will be best if he pays your first-year tuition while he transfers your LE to you. Best of Luck |

Besides, the latter is the best option because it gives the VO a very good assurance of your home ties. Remember the Koko na to get the visa they will always join u there anytime. Be Ble$$ed |

Helllo Good morning guys I don’t know what’s happening to my application now so I had my sister reach out to her MP this was his reply: I recently had an opportunity to speak with an IRCC officer regarding the current status of your brother’s study permit application who advised:
The application was received on Jan 28, 2022 and it is at the Nairobi office The current posted average processing timeline for all study permit applications outside of Canada is 11 weeks (is not a guarantee) It is in the final review and decision stage – there is no timeline There is nothing required from him On April 27th an officer responded to their enquiry Joy, Mr. Kelly and I hope your brother Isaiah receives good news soon about his application. If so desired, please feel free to contact me again on July 10th or after for another Inquiry to IRCC.
I don’t know what to expect now. Any advice There's is a good chance it will end in praise. I believe there's something the MP knows that you don't know. You should get a positive reply from IRCC before that July. Bless you. 2 Likes |

Lezy: Please, what can be used as sufficient justification? I am in same situation. Is Affidavit enough? Hello Lezy, An affidavit is a legal document and may not be enough to help the officer to assess your income stream(s) and its reliability. Provide financial documentation that will help demonstrate that your funds come in continually in amounts that are not irregular. It could be a contract agreement, sales & invoice receipt, investment certificate, business registration certificate, employment information, etc. Given the sum being talked about is huge, documentation that covers the business transaction will be required. Pls help Hello Nadesh, It depends on the concerned individual's financial, economic, and ties to their home country. If none of these are adequate, it will be wise to put in a sole application for a second Master's if a Ph.D. study is not the goal, and then later, apply for the family upon landing. wealthcss:
Any advice Hello Wealthcss, At this point, you just have to wait patiently. The answer you seek is not for anybody here to authoritatively give. I also wish you hear good news soon. Best of Luck |

Ok, thanks. JustMellow:
Hello Lezy,
An affidavit is a legal document and may not be enough to help the officer to assess your income stream(s) and its reliability.
Best of Luck |
