Well from my layman understanding Barca tried to reduce the players wages with either them leaving either on transfer, On loan or their contract terminated like matheus, So with some leaving on loan or staying and getting a pay cut, the total predicted loss after everything was €138m that the board looked to write off later instalmentally (amortization) That's what also contributed to the wage bill going into this season, So now with coutinho's hooge salary off the books we now have a net positive that is a big chunk has been lifted in our wage bill running into the new season but of course there's still more work to be done, No vex for the long epistle

I stopped defending Pep last season when he finally got to the UCL final and lost it to Chelsea with his over tinkering tactics. Imagine bottling a two goal lead in less than five minutes when he has another chance of reaching the final?. I don't see that as being unlucky anymore....
