Resign Or Don't Contest: Buhari's Master Plan by GreyLaw(m): 9:36am On May 12, 2022 |
With the order from Buhari to his cabinet members to resign or forget about contesting for any elective position, I think the president has something up his sleeves. In fact, rephrasing the first half of the title of this piece might read something like, Resign or don't contest or be fired! Your thoughts, guys.

By convention time this government would have less than a year Wetin cum be less than a year to a minister when all of them contesting have opportunity of extending their stake in another government of 4years through negotiation in the presidential race? Hope you now see what is happening, I can not tell you what buhari would do to those positions But the ministers are making these decisions themselves |

There are permanent secretaries in each ministry who can and probably will act in the capacity of acting ministers. Although new ministers could be nominated but the time is short 1 Like |

Truthisunique2: I am aware of what they ministers are doing. They are using their 100m/presidential aspiration as a bargaining chip for the next admin; it's sort of a gamble, which is okay. However, I am looking at it from Buhari's angle. With resignation they are no longer in the cabinet and may not have easy access to Buhari as before, and the word EFCC is real. Don't you think Buhari will also use it to his advantage, like, forcing them to step down for his candidate, which means they also make their delegates vote for the president's candidate, or they (the aspirants stepping down) would face the dreaded EFCC? |

GreyLaw:buhari doesn't need to start threatning them that is too much They would naturally step aside for his candidate as a thank you to him for allowing them serve Which one of them do you even see consulting or spending their time apart from the same amaechi that they would be stepping down for Don't forget their is revelation that is even buhari that is even telling them to go buy form in the first place |

Truthisunique2: Yes. I know somebody is urging them to buy forms. No sane person will just wake up and go and buy 100million form. There must be a must masquerade in the shadows beating the drums for them. |
