I suspect that GEJ regime remains just 1year. In 2027, after GEJ leaves office, the Northerners would want power to return to the North, cause that was what happened after Yaradua died. When OBJ left office, power went to North. But when Yaradua died, it came back to South.

So if GEJ wins, the power might likely go to the North after he is done with is tenure.


That may be the reason why they are selling GEJ.OPINION.

Such arrangements nothern military heads of state won't happen again because of quota system.. Every State has someone or people in the military unlike what was obtainable in the 70's and 80'a

I'm not saying we'd go back to military era I'm only saying the presidency we'd have more Northern president, similar to the military era, because they have advantage over the south and now is the time to make the point and not give room for a Northern president. If not it will be a political blunder. No law stops the North from contesting, it's just a gentleman agreement among party members. For any reason a Northerner clinches the presidency , then zoning is dead . All I'm saying is for no reason should the south let the presidency slip their hand regardless of the division in the south . A southerner must be president. For no reason Shoup we settle for Jonathan 1 term tenure as well .
